Beautiful drive through
Oct 2020
Just pure outstanding beauty! Had lots of sheep roaming around, unfortunately we had only drove through on the way to Wyre Forest but it was absolutely incredible to witness this absolutely stunning location.

Beautiful Shropshire
Sep 2020 • Couples
We stayed in Shifnal, and visited Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and Ludlow. Everyone we spoke to, from parking attendants, bar staff, and cafe workers were so friendly and helpful. They were so proud of where they lived and wanted to share the very best with us. Such lovely people, such beautiful countryside. A really great break away.

Stunning countryside for driving, walking or simply to view
Dec 2019
Driving south from Shrewsbury, detoured to drive through the stunning hilly countryside of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Stunning countryside for driving, walking or simply to watch the world go by.
Lots of castles, forts, pubs and pretty villages to visit.
A hidden land on the Welsh borders.
Recommended.

Great Place for a Local Hill Walk
Jul 2019
Living in or near the Midlands of the UK allows for great day walking/hiking trips to this lovely range of small hills. Dotted with wonderful small villages and towns, which have great restaurants, pubs, and historic buildings. One such place is the Oak Inn, in the village of Cardington.

Outstanding Natural Beauty!
Jun 2019
This area certainly lives up to it,s description. The scenery of rolling hills and low mountains is incredibly beautiful. Some parts, such as Carding Mill Valley, can get very busy at school and Bank Holiday times. But there are many quieter areas and outside of peak times the whole area is quiet and peaceful. Ideal for rambling and relaxing and admiring the beauty of nature.

Amazing breathtaking views
May 2019
What a beauty of nature! Very near by to Midlands around 80 miles drive from Coventry, we stayed in Hoseasons Lodges near Montgomery. Drive and views were great. We didn't hike unto the mountains because we travelled with our 11 month old daughter. Weather was great and food in most of the restaurants were really delicious.

Wonderful area to just drive deserted lanes
May 2019 • Solo
Spent a few hours driving the country lanes and roads in this stunning area of natural beauty. Bluebell woods on Wenlock Edge. Lovely stone villages and breathtaking vistas. No wonder Houseman immortalized the place in his poetry.
