The New Inn has the best bar in Witney and serves the best ale.

Martin looks after the beer very well and it has always been in tip-top condition. The New Inn has the best bar in Witney.

Very good local pub with live music
May 2017 • Couples
Went Saturday 13th May 2017 whilst visiting Witney on the brewery tour. We noticed that there was a live band on and we had a good evening. The Public House is dog friendly and was friendly enough.

Has a variety of real ales including Hobgoblin which enjoyed whilst listening to live music.

Bad attitude !
Oct 2016 • Friends
Called in here on Saturday evening 29.10.16 - as a CAMRA member I asked if I could try a 'little taste' of one of the hand pulled ales. A dismissive 'no - we don't do tasters' was the reply from the young lady behind the bar who then proceeded to snatch the note from my hand when I went to pay for our drinks. Pity as there was great entertainment on and otherwise nice place - just completely ruined by one bad attitude.

Friendly pub

The New Inn has a variety of ales on sale and had the bonus of a live band to entertain us. Slash made us feel welcome and invited us to join him and his brother at Fat Lils afterwards. The lure of late night food was too much of a draw to avoid unfortunately.

There are so many better pubs than this disappointing one

Past it's heyday when I stopped in briefly but can't recommend as it has surely gone downhill. Best avoided.

We ended up going instead to the Three Horseshoes just up the road where the beer is superb and the menu outstanding.
