Dogs Not Welcome
Sep 2021
Dirty, untidy, poor parking with potholes. Terrible drinks and snacks. Overpriced and cold. Dogs not allowed on site. ITS OUTDOORS!
Only visited to watch my child play football, but was told I couldn’t with my well behaved, quiet and on a leash, dog.

Meeting Place
May 2016 • Friends
The stadium is a very good place for clubs and societies to hold meetings, with facilities for all sizes. They can provide a very good budget menu, and the staff are all very helpful, ably led by Frank. Highly recommended

Good Facilities, Not Great for Actually Watching Football
Dec 2015 • Solo
The ASM Stadium is the home ground for Thame United, and Aylesbury United currently also ground-share there.

Built at a reported cost of 3M GBP it has several training pitches, a large car park, a decent bar and no doubt all the facilities for the players, officials and directors are top-class for this level of football.

The problem with the ASM stadium is that it is not particularly good for watching football. The main stand is quite a way from the pitch and doesn’t offer much shelter from the rain. Also, there is no cover or terracing around the rest of the ground.

At least you can go to the bar at half-time, but you are not allowed to take any drink with you back into the stadium

Limited seats, Limited grounds, decent pitch
Sep 2014 • Friends
For a less prominent football club, Thame United has done well to secure itself a stadium. I'd call it a pitch with walls but that's just me.
Fixtures are often, and there are usually chips for sale at the hatch.
Its quite far from the town centre, on the outskirts of town so make sure you bring food and drink as you can't really just walk into town at half time, however you could go to the services across the road, it may take about 15 mins there and back.
