Peaceful Experience
Aug 2019
Staying in Thame we took a walk round town and came across the Gibbs mansion just opposite St. Mary's church. We then went into the churchyard and found Robin Gibbs grave which was unusual and oft visited. The church itself is lovely and worth a visit. It was very peaceful there.

Famous for Robin Gibb
Jun 2019 • Couples
I have been here before, but on this occasion I was on a guided walk of Thame so we got to understand the importance of this lovely church, not only to Midsummer Murders but also to the resting place of Robin Gibb the famous member of the group Bee Gees.

went to St Marys church in Thame last year (2018) we wanted to see Robin Gibbs gravestone. So unusual with all his songs on the headstone. I would recommend this. You don't have to like the Bee Gees to see this grave but if you are in Thame anytime go to the church and see it as it definitely worth a visit. Also his mansion is just also across the road, Church is nice inside and out.

Fantastic Church

This 13th century Church is a must to visit, plus if you are a Bee Gees fan then visit the graves of Robin & Andy Gibb, the experience for me was second to none

This is a very well kept churchyard in a lovely area in Thame. Robin Gibb has a lovely headstone. His brother Andy is very close by.

Disappointed

Came down to visit Oxford from Leicestershire and wanted to see the church...but it was closed for the day as Donald Trump as visiting the area.
The Churchill family plots are in the grounds of the Church...so was able to visit these.

Came across by accident, very nice church with lots of good stained glass windows, brasses, but to my surprise I came across the grave of Robin Gibb. A nice visit.

Impressive church in attractive setting
Jan 2018 • Friends
The church is large but not especially interesting... some brasses, but many medieval details 'lost' over the centuries. Church usually seems to be open for visitors. Bellringers welcome interested visitors on Monday evenings.

This church is friendly and well kept. Always made to feel very welcome here if you attend weekly or not. Requests for information on the history of the church is always welcomed with much enthusiasm.
