A treasure trove of local and family history. Also benefits from the resources of the Oxfordshire museum service. The people behind it are committed to bringing past events to the public eye - a real asset to the town, and a must even for the casual visitor.

I had a short time to kill in Thame waiting for an appointment, popped in for the first time even though I have lived near Thame for 30 years. It's small but interesting

Gorgeous little museum that's FREE entry. A lot of local history & general historic exhibitions, covering Tudors & 1900-1960.

This excellent museum is a couple of minutes walk from the town centre & is very good for a small town. There is a small shop & toilet facilities. In addition to the permanent exhibition there are temporary exhibits throughout the year. Most of the exhibits are displayed in a large airy room with excellent lighting & plenty of room... More
