Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing show. I'm a big fan of TLSoH, and was lucky enough to see the West End show several times, and the movie is one of my favourites. To be honest, I was a little nervous about being disappointed, because I couldn't imagine how they could pull it off, but WOW.
The superbly talented cast, and their stunningly convincing performances gave me goosebumps more often than I could count. And the West End show never made me cry. Everybody shone, but Seymore and Audrey were particularly mesmerising and I was entranced.
And still, they were only supporting the extraordinary "Audrey 2". From the cinematically perfect growth spurt after poor Seymore's first blood donation, to the spectacular caravan sized monster finale. It should not be possible to cram such a huge Little Shop into such a tiny and intimate space, but the worst thing is that not enough people will see this marvel.
Thanks for an amazing night. For £12! I would have not complained if it had been £40. Congratulations.
Love from the guy in the yellow hat. xx

Yet another enjoyable evening at this wonderful little theatre. We went to see Thame Players latest production - "A Bunch of Amateurs". Really great play, well directed and performed. The use of the stage to create three separate acting areas was really well done and the stage crew swapped out the areas smoothly and efficiently. The refurbished foyer looks warm and welcoming as well. Give it a visit if you can!

Every year we make our 'pilgrimage' to the local Christmas play. It is always fantastic. The same old faces appear on stage and are enthusiastic and make it a great night and the bar is cheap.
Top tip: Don't wear a coat or a jumper because it can get warm in there.

We went to see Witness for the Prosecution - an Agatha Christie play - by the Thame Players. The theatre is small and intimate, and the overall production was great. A very enjoyable evening. Already planning to visit again.

My family and I occasionally come to the players theatre if their screening a recent movie. Lovely people who run it, super relaxed and chilled, good value for money and an excuse to get everyone together for the evening!

The Players Theatre is just off Upper High Street in a converted 100-year-old church hall, next to the Fire Station. They stage 5 of their own productions a year, including an unmissable annual pantomime (all put on by amateurs, but often you wouldn't know it), and a wide variety of visiting acts from musical events to appearances by celebrities. There is also a cinema showing a broad range of films including new releases. You are sure of a warm welcome from the moment you step into the foyer and bar area. The front of house team are excellent. I have not seen a poor show here yet. The theatre has a strong local following, and it's advisable to book - you can do this online from their website. The theatre can seat up to 132 in the auditorium and balcony. I have just seen Mari Wilson in concert here, with a selection of numbers by Dusty Springfield, Cilla Black, and others, arranged by Mari and her accompanists. She was first-class and the audience were very appreciative.
