Well better late than never. MY wife and I visited Cotswold from the states to celebrate her 60th in October. The tour was everything we wanted it to be. Low keyed, small group, excellent bikes, interesting stops including a little lunch spot, well informed guide. I highly recommend this and would repeat the tour again next time in the UK. The tour was principally on back roads but on the occasion we had to cross a busy road it was done very safe and professionally . At no time did we feel uncomfortable. Peter was an excellent guide. Sorry for the delayed review but they certainly deserved this. Cheers, Ed

Wow!!!! If you are going to visit the Cotswolds, do yourself a favor and book an e-bike tour with Peter! We originally wre going to simply rent bikes, as Peter's tours were full, but in a lucky turn of events the heat made the other guests cancel and we had a day of biking through wonderful countryside, breweries, villages, and this is what we will remember years from now when we reminisce this trip. The bikes are comfortable, powerful, and Peter is just a great guy and guide. Thank you!!

My husband and I were visiting from the US (CA) and spent three days cycling through the Cotswolds. My husband is an avid biker (100 miles/week - mix of mountain and road bike) and I am a casual rider (30 miles a week - road bike only). Our three day tour consisted of nearly 90 miles of riding. My husband completed all three days on a Trek road bike and I completed 2 days on a Trek bike and the last day on an e bike (lots of good hills on the tour). The bikes were in top condition. Our first day was a guided tour by Peter, the owner, who is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is eager to share information about the Cotswolds. Our second and third days were self guided tours using Garmin routes prepared by Peter in advance (with last minute adjustments made to meet our requests). The routes were fantastic. Peter ensured we enjoyed beautiful scenery with minimal travel on high-traffic roads. Peter arrived early every morning to meet with us and he spent time reviewing each route to help ensure we would have a lovely time. We can't say enough wonderful things about the service we received from Peter and our three day visit to the Cotswolds. The people, the food and the scenery were all amazing. We sincerely thank Peter for his hospitality and highly recommend a tour through his site. Even through a few clouds and drizzle, this tour and Peter's kindness exceeded our expectations.

I cannot say enough great things about our 3 day bike trip through the Cotswolds last spring. I needed a getaway with my teenage son; something for us to do together, a mom and son bonding trip. Peter was so helpful, set us up with everything we needed, planned the perfect routes for us each day. He went above and beyond and got us restaurant reservations (because we hadn’t planned ahead and it was a holiday weekend) and picked us up in Oxford because the trains weren’t running. This was one of the best short trips I’ve ever taken. I’m late in writing this review because I usually don’t get to writing them, but as I started thinking about trips for this year, I was remembering this amazing trip. Thank you Peter!!

Spent the day with Pete on his electric bikes. Even though it was a bit of a rainy day it was great. His knowledge of the area and its history were fun. He kept us on safe back roads. Highly recommend spending a day with him.

Peter is a wealth of knowledge about English history and the local area. He took extra care to ensure all the people on the tour were well cared for and was able to answer all our questions. The sights were incredible! Stopping at the Donnington brewery was one of my personal favorite highlights! If you are a cyclist and looking for a fun informative your, do not pass on this one.

A HUGE thank you to Peter for organizing a 3-day cycling break for me and my teenaged daughter. We enjoyed it so much and wish we could have stayed longer. We really appreciated having well-tuned bikes and excellent route suggestions. Also, Peter went out of his way to make even our rained-out day worthwhile, driving us to Sudley Castle and other sites we otherwise would have missed. If we ever get a chance to go back, we will certainly be giving him a call!

I can't say enough about our experience with Peter and Windrush Cycle Tours. My two friends and I wanted a self-guided tour of five days, and Peter gave us exactly what we wanted. It really was perfect. The British countryside with English gardens, quaint villages, sights along the way, and challenging cycling...at a good price. The Garmin worked pretty well. Perhaps if we had some traditional cue sheets also, as we were used to, that would have made us feel a little more comfortable at times, but all worked out fine. Bikes fit perfectly and overall had fantastic weather. The one day of rain we had worked out fine because Peter offered to drive us around to some attractions. Given that he is very knowledgable in British history and current events, it was extremely informative! I highly recommend this company.

We greatly enjoyed our tour with Peter! The countryside and villages are stunning, the bikes were awesome (you can make it hard or easy depending on what you are up for), and Peter is a wealth of knowledge. It was the best part of our time in the UK. Highly recommend!

Rode with Peter for the day on ebikes. We explored beautiful towns in the area. The bikes were easy to ride and a lot of fun. Great for adults of all ages. Perfect for anyone looking to see a lot and not have to worry about parking cars in these tiny villages. Would definitely recommend.
