Lovely place to sit and watch the world go round. Plenty of cafes around to obtain drinks and food.
The Farmers market on Fridays always has good quality produce on sale.

The Market Place, also known as the Town Square is the Commercial / retail focal point of Abingdon. As the name implies, this is the home of a centuries old mixed market on most Mondays, with a specialized Farmers Market on Fridays.
Interesting shops surround the Square, with the impressive County Hall at the other end, and a number of excellent local and national coffee shops / cafes, together with centuries old pubs.
Such an important place to start any tour of Abingdon.
