Mixed feelings

Whilst it's always good to see a market town investing in a modern shopping area, it's unfortunately just not that inspiring. A limited range of stores, I much preferred walking down the pedestrianised High Street. Plenty of reasonably priced parking however, very easy to access.

Worksop is one of those towns that has a lot of empty shops. The priory is the least affected area with a good amount of shops. M&S food is good and the usual bargain shops like poundland and the BM bargains. There is a few clothes shops, games shops and wilkos. Still a good town to find bargains. Beyond priory is a town full of empty shops and a ok market. Parking is now very easy at the carpark behind the priory. Just park up, go shopping and pay when you need to go home. All you do is enter reg plate on a touchscreen and pay. Prices are excellent. 60p for one hour. £1 for two. £1.50 for 3 hour. Worth a visit with these carpark prices.

Ok for a shopping trip

I was passing Worksop and decided to call for some things I needed. There is the usual array of high street shops which met my needs, but i am not sure it is very good for the locals, clothes wise. It was very disorientating for a stranger, as most of the shops had two doors, and sometimes i emerged on the street rather than in the centre. I was surprised but pleased to see a Pandora shop amidst such a run of the mill place.

I don't live far away, so I pass through this shopping centre often. there are a couple of charity shops. a couple of "well-known names" like Wilko, Iceland, next, select B+M and a few I may have missed. O a Poundland. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, it has nothing to hold my attention. The car park is a wholesale rip off, and I would never use it. even though they say they are going to change it to a friendlier system it has been extended and the new bit looks clean and fresh the older part looks well.......... old.

Went phone shopping with the fiancée and had a wander around, nice to see, a good regeneration project as before this part of Worksop was tired and Dull. Various shops and well known businesses, worth a walk around.
