A little gem of a theatre. Great shows. South Pacific was outstanding. Some kind of hand rail needed to facilitate safe decent down the tiered seating though.

Went to see What The Floyd on 05/03/17, me and my companion never knew this place existed! It's a great little place, only 200 seats so if you see something on that interests you, book early. Run by friendly welcoming enthusiastic volunteers. Had the usual inconsiderate tw*ts behind who go to a show to talk, I really wanna have a go at these *rseholes. The theatre itself is a relatively recent build and is surrounded by housing. Do not attempt to get parked close by, give yourself a bit of time and get there early. The show itself had a technical issue / delay at the beginning but that was the fault of the band's 'technology'. My main issue was with the number of people constantly going in and out to the loo / bar, the auditorium door / light being a near constant distraction. To all these people who were there - if you can't hold it, don't drink it. I was personally bosting by the interval but would never dream of inconveniencing people like that. To the management - either tell people no constant in / out or erect a blackout curtain box to stop the distraction. Overall, I would recommend the venue, just remember it is tiny, but the advantage is it's quite intimate. Will definitely be going again if right band / show comes along. Regarding the questions from Trip Advisor, be warned that on Sundays, there is limited public transport to Worksop, ok if you live there of course, and you may have to use car / taxis.
