The reclining seats are a nice touch but the theatres are freezing cold. I saw 1 person had actually taken a blanket in!!! No wonder the place was almost empty with just 10 people on a Saturday night watching a film that was just released yesterday!
This place is notoriously cold and has been for many years now. I won’t be returning again

Travelled from Mansfield for the Silver Screen experience only to discover it was in the tiniest location and sold out. As you cannot book it is advertised as being shown in a location with plenty of availability ! We were 20 mins early and several people were also turned away. This negative experience cost me £4 parking ticket.

Centrally located. Park behind the cinema, keep your ticket and they will refund you. Good selection of drinks and snacks available. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean and well presented.

We went to this cinema as a last minute booking,
It was an afternoon showing. We had no problems parking. The cinema is very clean. We were in theatre 3 new leather reclining seats. Good view of the screen. Everything was perfect, except for the volume it was just too loud. Even with my hearing aids switched off it was still too loud. The volume could have been reduced by 40% and it would have been about right. In the interval tried to locate staff, only a young lady on the till and she was so busy.
Perhaps a member of staff should circulate the theatres whilst films are showing, could help.
Good afternoon good film spoilt by the volume.

Loved time cinema it’s self great place and overall good value for money.
However good what can really impact is customer service. The Manager (as stated on her lanyard) had a no customer service skills at all.
Communication to your customers is key. We won’t be visiting again anytime soon.

Ordered cinema tickets online & realised I’d booked the wrong time! In a panic rang the cinema & was put through to the manager. He was so helpful & changed our tickets to the correct time, no problem. On arrival our tickets had already been printed out & we had the seats that we had originally picked. The lady that served us was so friendly & helpful as well. So happy that we have this amazing cinema on our doorstep 😁

Normally I would rate this cinema as 5*. However on this occasion I was badly let down. I took my three Grandchildren age range from 4 to 7 to the 6pm showing of Boss Baby. Before the film commenced three youths came in. they immediately started shouting to each other using foul language, videoing each other, speaking loudly on their mobile phones, jumping from one seat to the other and throwing pop corn all over the place. My 7 yr old Grandson commented on them swearing. As the film had not yet started I gave them the benefit of the doubt hoping that their behaviour would stop once the film commenced. 15 minutes into the film their behaviour was still the same. I went to the foyer to report their actions to the Staff on duty. Both Staff were very young. I told the first one who said something to the girl behind the counter, who muttered something about telling someone else.
No one came into the screen 3 so the boys behaviour continued the whole of the way through the film.
I rang the Manager this morning who said the screens should be checked every half hour to combat this sort of thing. Clearly this was not the case last night, even after drawing the problem to the Staff's attention. I do not feel that the Managers apology this morning in anyway compensated for the poor experience of last night and the complete waste of money for the tickets.

The Silver Screen is on a Wednesday morning at 11.30 am for the over 50's and includes a hot drink and raffle for £3.50 which is very good value.

Booked a private viewing for my Dad's 80th birthday. Zoe couldn't have been more helpful and enthusiastic about the day when I booked it.
Everything was organised beautifully - on arrival we were assisted by Wayne and Lisa (?) sorry, not sure if that was her name, went out of her way to make sure we all had drinks and popcorn before the film and was super friendly.
I can't compliment the staff enough, everyone we met had a welcoming smile and genuinely cared about our experience, would definitely recommend for parties - excellent value too.

A very lovely small cinema in the heart of town.
The savoy is one of the only brilliant things in our town - clean, well priced, good amount of showings and events. Love the baby and mum screenings and kids club.
The staff are always polite and smiley and it’s a pleasure to visit. Also not always busy so great for children that can easily feel overwhelmed in a large cinema.
They also have live screenings of various opera/musicals/ballet etc.
There’s lots of parking locally and you can redeem the price of your parking off your cinema ticket - bonus! After 6pm (I think) it’s free anyway.
We enjoy our visits here so much more than any big city cinema!

Can we bring our own popcorn and drinks? I don’t want to bring my kids with a bag full of sweets and stuff to be told we can bring it in?

We are having a child's party here in July. Wondering how we can get around the parking issue as most parents are only dropping off and the collecting their child so will only be in the car park 5mins each time so seems unfair of them to pay but as they aren't staying for the film they can't get a refund on their parking. Any ideas how we can get around this and keep 24 children safe without any being sent to walk in by themselves or an adult from the party go out to meet them and leave less adults inside at the party?
