Great selection of quality food, real ales, friendly staff and very safe environment. Good to see traditional pubs like this one.

We went in a group for a Christmas meal organised by friends. I’m normally in a wheelchair but this being an old pub isn’t the easiest to get around, saying that there is a ramp entrance and a proper disabled toilet so if it hadn’t been as busy owing to Christmas it wouldn’t have been an issue.
The food was fantastic huge portions and all obviously home cooked. The service was quick and the waiters friendly. A great night.
Hopefully we will go back for a great value meal in the near future

Popped in with friends and all our children on the Friday of the beer fest. We was all going for an hour as we had been to our kids sports day and ended up staying till very late, the food was amazing home made and true, so much better then microwave pub grub. The best chip's ever ☺
The entertainment was fantastic and we had a really good time, we went back Saturday too. Atmosphere really good. My favourite pub

We went out for a late lunch time meal which we all enjoy. And the price was good for 5 of us. Over 4 adults and 1 cheldren bill was over £100.00

Chris, Sally and their team at The Grey Horses were fantastic on Sunday. They provided an amazing feast, alongside an extensive bar with craft ales for our family and friends. Their professional and friendly customer service is second-to-none together with their glorious food! Chris and Sally were accommodating and offered a number of different options including children's food before we settled on the final food. We cannot recommend The Grey Horses enough!

We are lucky to classify this pub as our local.

It offers a great choice of real ales together with a good variety of other drinks.

The food is homemade and is fantastic value for money. We can certainly recommend the pie.

The staff are extremely friendly. Well worth a visit.

We had an enjoyable Sunday dinner in this comfortable village pub.
A friendly greeting and good service from the plentiful staff on duty. The landlord and landlady were also around and friendly and welcoming.. The lounge is a little dated with an old fashioned pub carpet and club style tables, but this is a minor criticism and it was clean and bright.

Portions are large and the food is genuinely home cooked. Several roasts were on offer all accompanied with veg/mash/roasties and a separate additional bowl of cauliflower cheese.

Plenty of people were in and enjoying the food and it is obviously a great village pub. As a brewery tap for Welbeck Brewery, it had several of their beers on plus others and plenty of lager/cider options.

Worth a visit for food or beer.
