I've visited Create Theatre on a number of occasions and have had a great night out every time. The comedy stand up nights are always great value and the range of performances to choose from throughout the year are varied and always high quality.
The venue itself is new and the size encourages a really good atmosphere, so you're always close to the action (there isn't a 'bad seat' in the house). Brilliant theatre, no complaints.

A range of shows at good prices, from local amature groups and touring pro. Nice venue and friendly staff.

Having visited the theatre at least 15 times now since opening, I'm in no doubt that I'll keep on coming back. I've watched endless comedy, magic shows, emotionally-charged dramas, classical concerts, dance school productions, plays about life, plays about death and more!
There's always such a varied selection and I just wish more of the local community would come along and give it a try. People need to realise that not only is this an outstanding, state-of-the-art theatre for students to practice their art, but it's a venue where well-known theatre companies put on their professional productions too. With great value for money, a friendly welcome by the crew - you can't go wrong having a night out here.
Long live Create Theatre!

I love create theatre. As a student, I want to watch as many shows as possible but can't necessarily afford them, create changes this. I love it's friendly atmosphere and the quality shows it produces. Allowing us to see fringe theatre in our home town. Best. Theatre. Ever.

Went to watch Ali Cook the other night who you may recognise from a few magic shows on tv and also from New big movie 'The Anomaly'. The show itself was excellent, really great performer and the venue itself was really unexpectedly good. Worth going to this place if there is anything remotely decent to watch. I suppose the selection of beverages isn't fantastic but you would expect so with this place being primarily a college facility. But you aren't there to drink it's all about the shows. Overall I think it's excellent and hopefully we see more great acts, especially magicians. You never know there could be something special on here.
