We were very hesitant to visit after reading lots of poor reviews but decided to give it a go as our local leisure centres don't have slides or much for young children to do. We all really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to visit...More

I took a 14 year old and an 8 year old. Both children enjoyed this pool. The flumes were fun without being too fast and so my 8 year old was happy to go on them by herself. The waves were just right. I noticed...More

My comments relate purely to the Hynde & Henshaw Competition Pool in relation to the pathetically poor and inadequate provision for the independent public leisure swimmer. If you do visit this pool you will likely be subject to a highly biased schedule in favour of...More

Don’t bother, it’s dirty, overcrowded, overpriced and has only one slide (can’t count the white one as a slide as you don’t slide down it, you have to drag yourself along it and UPHILL!) I live 10 minutes away but I will not be returning.

Visit weekly for my daughters swimming lesson which she loves, however we have recently visited the aqua challenge twice, my daughter and her friends have loved it. Worth the money an hour on the inflatables and 40 minutes in the pirate pool. Easy to book...More

As we arrived in the carpark the tickets was wrong and someone got a ticket when it wasn’t their fault. There was a massive queue upon arrival and the air conditioning was not active . You could smell the chlorine from outside and it smelt...More

Me, my partner and 2 children (1 x nine months and 1 x 13 year old) visited Water Meadows and we were disgusted by our visit. Upon entry the air conditioning was covered in mould and there was dust everywhere, that clearly shows that no...More

A few years back I’m sure you had to take them off, I’m not totally sure! When it gets to going on the slide there’s a life guard there to inform you anyway!

Hi Georgina, our Leisure Pool and Teaching Pool are usually kept at 30.5°, our normal operating range is 0.5° either way, so it's always between 30 and 31. Hope that helps.
