Recently visited here with my two children and my two friends and their two children! There is so much space for the kids to just run around and tire themselfs out! The walking routes are good and the variety of play areas is great! If you get the right weather (thankfully we did) you can make a real day of... More

Went for the first time. £1 for an hour or £4 for more but that does you all day. Stunning. Our 18 month, 6,9 and 10 year olds loved it. Lots to play on and dens to build. Kids are now desperate to do Go Ape and Segways. Volleyball nets and small football goals. More wee slides for young ones... More

Sherwood Pines is a great forest setting both for walks and cycling. Regretfully we did not bring our bikes - wish we had as there are different routes depending on the capability of the riders. However with the walks - really impressive and given the numbers of people in the forest staggeringly litter free. Personally found the Trench walk most... More

we have visited this place numerous times and its just a great place to go mountain bike riding. Whenever we arrive the car park is always busy and so from that you can tell its a popular place! There is so much to do here for everyone and it definitely attracts people. The biking trails are great and always well... More

Don't know why this place doesn't get more attention...its just great! Not far from Clumber and Center Parcs it's quite accessible. You need to pay £4 for parking but after that you have access to loads of stuff. We did Go Ape with the kids and there is both a junior and a more difficult course up in the trees.... More

Lovely location to go for a walk. We stayed at Eastwood hall about 30 minutes away by car and spent the day walking through the Forrest and stopped for a refreshment in the cafe.

It really is beautiful, peaceful and lots to do from riding, joging, walking, go ape, bike hire, a park and a cafe. I went with my 4 year old newphew two days ago he was... More

A new structure is in development. The boardwalk had been a popular feature for visitors, but after 23 years of almost constant use was found during an inspection earlier this year to be potentially unsafe. We therefore took the decision to remove and replace it. The current situation is that we are inviting architects who specialise in play equipment, to... More

We stayed at the forest holidays sherwood forest cabins which are right next door to this & visited everyday. There was so much to do with our family of 3 boys & a bouncing boxer dog. We walked miles following the trails, hired bikes, played on the parks & had a go on go ape. Next time we would deffaintly... More
