Lovely walk around the lake or up to the beach road a visitors centre with little cafe and small shop. Great play area and plenty for the children to run or walk off some energy.

Lovely place to visit. The new park is exceptionally well built and accessible to all. Plenty of parking which is always a plus.

Lovely place to visit.a nice walk but parking charges have occurred. I don't want to put people off not coming but its just a warning to have some spare change. It's a beautiful place to watch the birds and water.

Our sat nav took us to the beach road instead of the pay & display car park, so at least our parking was free. Huge lack on former coal mine, and the best beach in northumberland nearby.

Not only can the dogs go on the beach, but if you’re lucky you’ll have miles of it all to yourself.

It’s a very popular open water swimming location. I haven’t observed divers, but can’t see why not! There is an information point in the at the toilets/cafe, staff there should be able to advise.
