A nice way to see the town of Berwick, though the free guide could be a little clearer. The walk around the town walls gives a good insight into Lowery's inspiration, I would suggest you take one of the free town maps with you, it's...More

A very interesting way to appreciate Lowrys art. A walking tour of the town. I was particularly taken with Dewars lane and the angle of the building. The children couldn’t quite believe it!

Really enjoyed this trail, viewing the places painted by Lowry and reading about the history. Easy to pick up when walking around the town or the ramparts, and very informative. A really nice addition to what is already a lovely and very interesting place.

This is a pretty good trail. I learnt Lowry did stick people. His artwork is great. Well worth a visit.

Didn’t expect this to be the gem it was ! I allowed 2 hours, but could easily have filled at least 4.

If you are, as we are, lovers of the work of LS Lowry then you will find this trail a delight. Follow the trail to identify views and locations of some of Lowry's famous and less famous paintings

We have visited Berwick twice now and have completely (nearly) all of the Lowry trail. Here are a few photographs from this trip. It’s a lovely walk around the town that goes in a nice circle. You can also cross the bridge to Spittal to...More

Lowry painted many paintings on his visits to Berwick and information boards on the trail point out places where he painted some of them. We did not do the whole trail but just came across the boards as we walked around the town. For those...More

Hi I would say a good hour . We stopped and started diverting here and there. Plus a lunch stop so not really too sure!! Enjoy it anyway. The landscapes just as they were. My imagination went into overdriveSarah
