Friendly football ground in which to see the only English club playing in the Scottish Leagues. Sadly no longer the SFL after last season's relegation. An average 200 'crowd' with no need to segregate the fans. Come and support the Borderers in the Lowland League as they fight to regain their rightful place in Scottish football.

Visited for the British Speedway Under 21 Final in late April. Bright sunshine really sets off this lovely venue. Arrived about 4pm and looked in on Berwick Rangers v Albion Rovers football. Such a shame the home team lost as it could spell danger for this venue,if they do get relegated. I sincerely hope not. The Black and Gold club is a very friendly venue. Sat and enjoyed the company of some locals.Worth a visit even if nothing is going on. Speedway is on most Saturdays at 7pm from March to October.

Visited Shielfield Park for the first time in about 15 years when I attended a league match between Berwick Rangers and Edinburgh City. Located a good bit away from the train station (good 30 minute walk) but went via a few bars for a Prematch pint (The Curfew and Barrels) and had a drink in the social club at the ground before the match, which was very welcoming to non-Berwick Fans. Typical lower league ground with a little bit of charm to it. Food is a bit scraping the bottom of the barrel, but had worse. Actually one of the good away days in the Scottish league and would certainly visit again.

We visit Berwick often and when there try and take in a game. It's a very friendly set up and always people around to help you with and queries. The black and gold pub at the ground is also friendly, kids welcome, decent selection of beers/juice and pool table for the boys. Home and away fans mingling together as it should be. The ground is decent, slight slope but hey ho. Free seating in stand or if you fancy some local banter stand in the far side under the cover, good Craic. A lovely wee ground, worth a visit if in the area.
