    Great spot, whatever the weather
My husband and I and 22 year old son and girlfriend, visited on a sunny but breezy Saturday in May. It's a vast and sweeping beach, with the added attraction of a bird nesting site. Not at all crowded, clean and affording a good walk, round and back.

    Great beach!
Lovely beach, about 7 minute drive from Seahouses. Large car park, you can download the pay by phone app to park here. Toilets available, not the best but fairly clean and well stocked. Huge beach so even when it’s busy there’s loads of space. You can hire a paddle board and wet suit from a stall in the car park £20 per day. Ice cream van in the car park and a new bistro place opposite the car park that do carry out coffee and tea etc. Dog friendly beach Would advise getting there early for a good spot and a parking space

    Cracking beach without the crowds
Beadnell Beach, what a place, quiet, calm seas and a shallow bay so you can walk in without fear of going to far. We went in June, probably the best day of the year, but still not over crowded. Have been often and will defo go back

    Lovely beaches
Called in here for a couple of hours, we parked on the road but there's a carpark too. The beach is long and sweeping around the bay, the sand is excellent and also dog friendly. With an unusual west facing harbour and nice views

All round splendid beach for families, dog walkers & swimmers
Great all round beach in the North East. We’ve spent many happy hours when the children were small, paddling & playing in the clean golden sands. Now it’s a favourite place to swim - all weather, all year round. Check your swim/surf apps for your to date conditions & safety & you’re good to go. There’s ample parking (pay by card, cash or pay by phone app), public loos & a fab cafe - The Landing - just behind main car park for delicious soup, sandwiches & a bar too. Lovely walk via beach or coastal path to Low Newton by the Sea.

    A Special Place.
I travel to this special place neither oversees nor far away and as the short miles roll away the troubles of daily life fade away. I arrive and from the moment I breath the air I have an overwhelming feeling of happiness tinged with a feeling of sadness for the people now past who I once shared memories of this place. From dawn until dusk in Rain, Sun or wind this place is beautiful this place is Beadnell Bay.

    Great beach for a walk
What a gorgeous beach. We parked in the designated car park & walked along the sand with our dog. Everyone was friendly and the beach is so clean and obviously well maintained. No litter & clear water

Location was nice with lovely beach but facilities were terrible with cold dirty showers.

Toilet waste was mixed with grey water and smelled really bad.

Rubbish was over flowing from bins.

On night when arrived we have no directions to pitch or and details on site
So had trouble locating pitch.

The owner was a bit strange when he turned up next day complained caravan wasn’t in right spot.

We noticed groups of men hanging around one of the houses next to the main dunes and they played loud music.

People creeping about in dunes and groups of children drinking late in dunes kept us awake so we couldn’t relax.

Worth a stay but a bit weird setup with very basic facilities a long walk from pitch.

Wouldn’t advise if you have kids as long walk to toilet kids complained as no facilities and lots of adults drinking.

Maybe go again if in area for nice beach.

Was in northeast for a week visiting family. First time there Beadnell was the Most expensive 35 min walk on the beach I’ve ever taken . Large sign says first hour parking free ,15 mins later they slap a £50 ticket on your window. Signage is horrible and forget about appealing the ticket cause the return reply is pretty direct and arrogant. First and last time I go there . TBH there are much nicer places to see up the coast. But Beadnell big 👎🏻

Great beach, we used to love walking the dogs on, however, since our last visit there is now a 3hr/£5 minimum charge for the car park. Ridiculous if you just want an hour to have a walk. I noticed lots of people parking on the seafront and walking down to the bay… can’t blame them really.

We walked from Beadnell to Craster along Beadnell Bay, it was stunning. The weather was perfect and reflected such a lovely light on the sands and across the Bay. We will come back again. If you would like to read more details of our walk you can find a link on the forum page, or check out my blog Boz North's Trail. A lovely clean beach I would recommend it for families and anyone interested in a day at the seaside.

What a great car park and value for money . The beach is fabulous and great for all water sports . Safe bathing as it was packed with children on surfboards. Lovely watching everyone having fun. We did buy an ice cream from Mr Whippy..a youngish lad serving.. it was the meanest smallest ice cream we’ve bought in the area. It was ate in seconds at £2.50 for a single 99! Glad we won’t be back for ice cream.

Not the place it was. Nothing can take away the natural beauty of the beach and surrounding farmland, but Beadnell as a village has changed dramatically in the last few years. It was the most peaceful quiet location, a haven to refresh and renew away from cities and towns. Now some people seem determined to swamp it with all the facilities available in those built up areas. Instead of spoiling it for those who like quiet why don’t they just holiday/live in the places that already offer what they want? I suppose they want it all, stunning scenery on the doorstep but bars and restaurants too. A very pretentious place now.

A truly stunning beach that was fairly quiet. A long contemplative walk and a great place to just think and reflect.
Hats off to the female swimmer who I nearly bumped into a deserted beach who was braving the cold water.

We spent a week over the New Year in Beadnell, we've never been before and was happily surprised at how lovely it is. The beach is beautiful, it's very clean and our dogs loved it. You can walk for miles. There is a little cafe in the car park where you can get a snack and drinks, we had coffee and a skipper sandwich, gorgeous. If you are ever in Beadnell, you must visit the beach, we will definately be visiting again.
