Picturesque ...

This is bay is absolutely stunning. Miles of golden sands to walk on. Dunes to climb. Ruined castles to admire. The autumn sunshine created many shades of blue as we looked out to sea. The beauty of beaches on this coast is their isolated remoteness, creating acres of space for everyone. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Beautiful beach
Oct 2021 • Couples
We walked to here from our hotel Beadnell Towers. There is a car park right on the beach too.
It is such a lovely bay. We walked up to the kiln and the sea was rough so got some fantastic views from there.

BEADNELL BAY BEACH
Aug 2021
Thursday 26 August 2021, my husband and I visited Beadnell Bay Beach.

Beadnell Bay, has a sandy beach stretching 2 miles to the south, This glorious golden sand, curves around the bay forming a natural harbour. To the rear of the beach are grassy sand dunes and fields beyond, and houses a nationally important colony of little terns and the largest mainland colony of Arctic terns in the United Kingdom.

We spent over two hours here and took some wonderful photographs.

If you are in the area, it is a place well worth visiting.

A beach-lover's dream
Sep 2021
A beautiful, sweeping curve of golden sand, edged with dunes, stretching for miles away from Beadnell's charming harbour.
Like many Southern visitors, I suspect, I had no idea this area was so blessed with stunning beaches.
I'm not a sunbather but love coastal scenery and enjoy a walk along a strand like this one. Because the sun was out, many people were here but, such is the scale of the beach that it is never going to feel crowded.
A couple of small, low, islands sit a few hundred yards out to sea, adding interest to the scene.
Unlike many of its more southerly counterparts, this beach is wonderfully clean and litter-free.
A great place for sunbathers, kids, walkers, paddle boarders, dog owners and lovers of coastal scenery.

Stunning beach
Aug 2021 • Couples
This is one of those beautiful Northumbrian beaches. It's Rocky in parts but that makes it interesting. If you park in Beadnell itself you can access the beach straight off the road which is fantastic. Dog friendly and at low tide you can walk right down to seahouses.

Great beach for dogs
Sep 2021 • Couples
Great beach to let the dogs have a run on. Miles of it. Handy car park, and first hour is free.
And ice cream van in the car park for after ( and toilets)

wonderful beach
Aug 2021
Brilliant beach, with lots of space and rockpools and gentle surf.
This is a lovely wide open beach with good rockpooling, crabbing and beach fun. There are nearby toilets and other necessities.
The surf is good for body boarding etc.
We will definitely be back. We have stayed here for a week and despite not amazing weather still managed to do lots of things at the beach.

Lovely . .

. . . even on a wet day. There are cafes in the carparks. Family friendly as the south facing beach is quite shallow; lots of recreational sports.
