We enjoyed a lovely walk here on our last day of our holiday. It is a fantastic beach, with a lovely little harbour. We look forward to bringing our granddaughters here soon, as the beach seems perfect for children during the summer months.

What a lovely weekend we walked from Beadnell to Newton-by-the-Sea the coastline once again did not disappoint. People talk about rubbish on some beaches but this beach is immaculate and you would struggle to spot even one sweet paper, I am guessing the local people...More

Panorama of sand stretching into the distance when the tide is out. Great place to take dogs. Sheltered bay with dunes at the rear. Plenty of open space to walk and enjoy the sea air.

Great for evening walks with the dogs. The sea was like a mill pond some nights. Parking at the North end of the beach with toilets.

This us a cracking good beach. In the summer it's great for children. In the winter it's wonderful for dog walking with dunes on one side and wind whipped waves on the other. Can often have the beach to oneself.
