It's a great day out for family's and dog lovers alike, it can be a bit windy even when the suns out but don't let that faze you it's beautiful. We approached it from the... More

Once you have visited this beach you will start to realise how many times it pops up in sweeping views on TV. A bit of Brian Cox's latest programme filmed here. Fabulous endless sands with the imposing castle perched right in the edge of the beach - hard to find a more dramatic view on a beach. Great for a... More

This is a beach for beach lovers! It might not be as warm as others but the views of the magnificent castle or out to the Farne Islands more than make up for that. The beach is usually quiet, especially if you're there at 04:30, watching the sun rise from out of the North Sea! There are also fantastic sunsets... More

Wow ! Spent a wonderful sunny afternoon walking for miles on this beautiful sandy beach. The imposing Bamburgh Castle only added to the impact this place has on your senses. If you don't have a dog, borrow one, and just walk, magnificent.

terrific beach just flat expanse of sand in each direction, not easy access if one cannot walk on loose sand through dunes but worth it for the views. sunsets were brilliant

Oh, this beach is magnificent! Miles and miles of beautiful sandy beach, rolling waves and the majestic, haunting silhouette of Bamburgh Castle enticing you towards it. A must see, for definite.

This is a really nice wild beach which is very clean. A good dog walking beach. Carpark is at the end of the dead end street just before the cricket pavilion heading towards the castle leaving the village. No bins on the beach though.

Beaches - all depend on what you are looking for! This is a wild and windswept beach with stunning views of the Farne Islands or Bamburgh castle and if peace and solitude is what you are looking for then you won't go wrong. If you want candy floss and kiss me Quick hats - forget and go to Seahouses. Tip... More

No matter which part of the coast one is visiting the beaches are surly some of the best in England. This one though is special. I believe that Janet Street-Porter listed it as the best view in Britain and I find that hard to argue with. A wonderful, clean sandy beach and a magnificent castle overlooking it all, just magic.
