This area is stunning - the sand dunes leading onto the beach are beautiful, free parking is another bonus. The sands are perfect for playing ball games or running wild & free. The views of the castle and islands out at sea are also lovely. Very enjoyable beach area

Beach is so wide that no one gets in each others way, families, couples, dog walkers, all enjoying the beach and the views of the castle above them. Our dog loved checking out the dunes too

Being lucky enough to live local to this beach my wife and I visit often. The views of the castle from the beach are amazing! A great place to go no matter what season it is!

Love this beach. Very clean, very windy on a cold New Year's Day. Kids loved it and would highly recommend

Oh the sheer joy of walking on this beach, seeing the castle behind and Holy Island at the front. Pure, honey coloured soft sand ,you can't wait to get your shoes off and run along like a small child ,with the sand between your toes.

This is just a fantastic beach - beautiful sand, islands off-shore, the castle just beyond the dunes, and not crowded. What more do you want from a beach!

Lovely clean beach with beautiful views of Bamburgh castle!! The dunes were fun for the kids to run around and parking was free right by the castle entrance.
