Clean, tidy and friendly. Good place for a variety of activities with the family or solo. Would have spent all day if it wasn't so windy.

The beach at Bamburgh is huge, even at high tide, and great for walking on, as long as you are well wrapped. There seems to be a permanent cool breeze blowing, which makes it not so much a place to swim as a beach to explore. The skies are wide and open and the sunsets are spectacular.

What a beach to walk on, walked on it almost everyday, open views, you can see Holy Island, Farne Islands and of course the castles, the weather helped although a bit windy but well worth the visit you can walk for miles on thus beach.

We walked here after visiting the castle. The beach is beautiful and was busy with families paddling in the clear blue sea. A perfect spot in a warm summers day.

Been for the last four years and will be back next year and the following year. What's not too like perfect sand for sandcastle building, plus wind for kite flying. Can't ask for anything more. Clean & tidy plus dog friendly :-)

Stunning white sand beach with spectacular view of Bamburgh Castle as the backdrop. Thankful for the cold sea, if it was warmer it would be so much busier. Dog friendly too.

Quite honestly one of the best beaches in the UK. Simple, huge, clean, miles of perfect sand and wonderful bamburgh castle in the background. Only thing that would make it 6 stars is if no dogs allowed but that is clearly a personal opinion. Fabulous

Miles of white sands to walk and play on. When the sun shines it is amazing here. Lots of space to run, fly kites, play cricket or simply walk and walk and walk....beautiful views and the stunning and atmospheric Bamburgh castle adds that extra special touch. A family favourite!

Lovely expansive beach with great views of the castle and the Farne Islands - not a lot would beat it as a beach!
