Let down badly by poor toilet facilities.

A real rustic North East welcome from Shaun would have been my abiding memory of this small, but well apportioned attraction, but I'm from down south (Sunderland) and couldn't get to grips with the local dialect.

"Wha's me hem senwich Hinny ?" I think is what he said, but none of our group (2 of us) could decode the local language. I will buy a guide book for my next visit.

Plus points ; It's not too far from Scotland.

Negatives : Too many pregnant teenagers, and it's close to Newcastle.

What is this place? Visited a few months ago with the bairns. There's staff lounging around smoking doing nowt and some wise guy pirouetting out the back jumping around in a clown suit! Not sure if it was somebody's birthday but there definitely weren't any balloons or cake. Or people come to think of it. We ate roast bloater (which actually wasn't bad so credit to Sean there) but wouldn't return.

Visiting shauns cabin was an uplifting experience. He even took the time out of his busy schedule to sign my childs conduit box.what an interesting tour of the cabin .After two hours I was ready for a dinner break. The canteen staff served me roast swan which although was beautiful it was cold and I had loose bowel movements for two weeks.apart from that a fantastic day out

Shauns cabin advertised as a fun place where you can get what you need. This could not be further from the true, the saff are rude and miserable, there is never anything there that you want the place is dirty and poorly maintained i fear for anyone who has to visit this place.

I visiting shauns cabin with high hopes. My dreams were soon crushed. Before i even entered the cabin there was an over powering smell of death. Ive seen goats with more of a work ethic than shaun. Absolute cesspit. Wont be returning.

Nothing like service with a smile, turned up, asked for a drill to get a load of conduit saddles thrown at me and then to be told I am a 'malteser munching cu*t'

I do not look forward to my next visit!
