Very friendly reception and a lovely, long ride alongside the Lake between the Museum and a Premier Inn/Brewers Fayre at the other end - superb value and very scenic. Proper industrial style diesel locos fit the scene perfectly.

I recently went on the railway for the first time. I did not realise that the train was not included in the museum admission price. It was £2 return for adults, £1 for children and 50p for dogs!..It is very scenic, with some nice views...More

Nice ride from the the museum to the country park. You can jump off stay at the park for a while and then get a return ride back.
