We were greeted at the door by a staff member who informed us about their covid guidelines. Once we had carried out all the necessary steps, we were shown to a table. Food was really quick and all freshly prepared. Portions are pretty big, neither of us managed to finish and we only ordered burgers! The chef did make us some onion rings which weren't on the menu, which was a really nice touch. We did return the following afternoon for drinks and found the standards of the staff to be the same. They were very thorough with their covid regulations and cleaning regimes. We sat and drank til last orders ( we had walked & miles to get there ) and they never let their standards slip. Great to see, a big well done to all of them.

Visited for Sunday lunch (bank holiday Sunday) after booking a few days before hand. Good thing we did as it was busy and many people had to be turned away due to being fully booked. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was COVID safe with screens up between tables, social distancing and sanitizer readily available. The meals were delicious and very large portions - my only negative being some lumpy mashed potato... apart from that the meal was spot on! Oh and the desserts were brill too - definitely recommend the salted caramel doughnuts!

Dog friendly, amazing food- big portions for reasonable price. Had to book due to Covid and then tried to go back but so busy (due to how popular it was!) we couldn’t get back in! Would highly recommend- very dog friendly and good for vegetarians (and meat lovers!) staff were so nice too
