My friend very kindly treated me to this. We had a beautiful afternoon. Loved the Spa and home baked afternoon tea. The staff were lovely. We did treat ourselves to a bottle of pink Champagne which we had outside in the beautiful grounds. Loved the place very homely and warm. We will be back! Thank you Doxford Hall

Booked this for my sister and myself. We didn't have any treatments but only took advantage of the pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and relaxing room which served as much tea and coffee as you like. The Spa was not busy even though there was a conference on at the hotel. Fabulous morning followed by a stupendous lunch in the... More

My husband and I got married here in June. We particularly liked the hotel grounds for an outdoor wedding but as typical British Summer would have it, it rained so this part of the day didn't go to plan! However, we had the best day ever, and this was helped by the amazing wedding coordinator, Sophie, who was very organised... More

We love Doxford Hall and have been several times for a light lunch or afternoon tea. We sat in the room allocated for afternoon teas. Today we noticed it had a smell of fish or some unpleasant odour. We love the setting and the room is delightful & sunny. The waitress took our order promptly however we waited over half... More

Doxford Hall is set in glorious grounds.Although it was quite wet for our visit still managed to view the beautifully kept gardens. Looked. After very well by all the staff. Rooms very luxurious, comfortable beds with quality linens. Being in a large group food was a little sporadic. Having to chose a menu for two days in advance was confusing... More

We stayed here for one night - dinner and breakfast. We had use of the spa and had spa treatments. The executive room was quite grand, roomy - though off a noisy corridor on the ground floor. This was the only downside. the rooms to relax in were very nicely appointed and presented. No one seemed to use the library,... More

My sister and I had a voucher for spa treatments directly from the hotel. We booked treatments at specific times and arrived early to enjoy some pool time and relaxation. The pool and changing areas are small and as mentioned in other reviews similar to our local swimming pool in atmosphere and appearance. The relaxation room was a lot warmer,... More
