WARNING. My husband had another driver lose control and come across in front of him. No major impact so my husband drove on and was flagged to come in. Then told that he could not continue as he had been involved in a collision. The staff were offensive and shouting about having to fill in paperwork. We had also paid for a media pack and were told we were not allowed this either, however they would refund this. I am still awaiting this refund with numerous contacts made with Drive Silverstone. This was a 40th Birthday pressie and I had saved for ages to be able to afford this and it was an utter disappointment and waste of money. No idea of I'll ever get my media pack refund.

Had to cancel as family member got COVID. In the end I wrote money off & booked a great driving experience closer to home. Poor customer service passed from one person to another. Got an e mail to say Covid is in the small print of the contract so tough you lose out of you don’t provide this information etc They ask for information they are not entitled to. Reading the reviews i dodged a bullet & will take action to recover the money.

This was some of the worst customer care that I've experienced for a long time. I know that Covid didn't help, but the pathetic organization of trying to contact them was next to none and i relied on other review sites to get the contact details from other disappointed customers! Then they extended the voucher expiry date from April 2021 to end of august 2021, but when I tried to book there were not available dates as booked or there was an event going on!! Trying to contact them was a really time consuming exercise as they did not provide any contact points on their website and there was no updates added? In the end I added comments to their review site and also other review sites and got someone who was in the same position as me who kindly gave me a contact. This was resolved ( or so I thought) they had booked me in the the 9th october (the date i requested) but then got an answer. then i kept getting emails for me to send the voucher code. For Silverstone the customer service i would have thought would have been a little better, a very poor example and they should change their tittle to "How to contact experience" Finally the day came and we got there in good time for the 2 hour experience, booked in and as this was a present wanted to have a video of the drive to show the drive (albeit £40) and photo's ( £20) as you cannot go around the course to take photos this would be a good idea. There was a briefing beforehand that took 25 minutes and then we was paired up so one person had a session and then the other person - i had my lap with the instructor and then the other person had theirs, then session 1 of 4 laps started which took 2-3 laps of the 4 to get used to a left handed car with paddle gears in a V8 Aston Martin Vantage with a top speed of 195/200 mph - not enough time to take in!! Then after the other person had their 4 laps it was session 2 of another 4 laps which was better. Once the drive was finished, i went to get my video and photo's and there were 15 photos all taken at the same spot on the track? This was not mentioned when purchasing and if i'd known i would not have got the photos as my wife took better photos on her iphone.......... My advice to stay clear of the photo's. Regarding the video is doesn't work on a MAC as the software will not load and i've emailed but as usual - no response?? Luckly i have an old laptop and after watching and to be honest its not worth the money. All the video shows is the driving - which does not have the same effect as the real thing and also doesn't show any details ie; speed. To summerise - the price tag of £189 for two sessions of 8 laps for a total duration of 12 mins is not justified as the briefing of 25 minutes is longer? If you can get someone to video you on the start/finish straight. Value for money not great, would i do again - not really, better off going on a race simulator

Some of the worst customer care I've ever experienced. Bus driver went on break without any indication leaving us late for our session - only staff we encountered told us just to wait for the bus to come along. When it finally does and we go to check in, lo and behold we're told we're late for our session and will have to wait 2 hours for another chance! With animals at home this meant the spectators would have to leave before the session. We explained the situation to the customer service team, who offered zero apology, zero accountability, zero remedy. Not even the offer of a video or photo package so the spectators (who had bought the experience as a gift for us) could at least witness it later. Rather than being mature about it, the staff ended up getting heated with us, stating they were "drawing a line under it", and offering us... the chance to talk to the head of the bus drivers! Another friend of ours had his morning session cancelled with little more than a "sorry about that" the same day. The customer team I'm sure were frustrated themselves as it seems they are completely without power to help their customers. Management - take heed and sort this out. More leeway, more communication, more power to your staff. An experienced badly soured, and I'll recommend friends try Castle Combe (where I've heard great things) in future.

Absolutely pathetic organization! The wife and kids went out their way to not only get a voucher but book the event day on the 6th of November 2201...this was for the open-wheel formula experience. Hotel booked, and time of work also booked...well deserved after 18 months of stress. Only for them to cancel due to them double booking with the WALTER HAYES TROPHY which is on that weekend, and them realizing they cant offer the experience safely. Slightly concerning for such an organisation, that they didn't realize they had double booked, it not even as though the pre-scheduled event came out of nowhere. It was booked for months. Ready cries of...we are not liable for the costs of travel and hotel bookings in the event of a cancellation. Pathetic service, and pathetic excuses. All in all Pathetic.
