This is a large out-of-town shopping centre that seems to have everything. Much bigger than I expected. Plenty of coffee shops. (We tried the one in M&S, huge queue ta the till at 12:00, just like every otehr M&S coffee shop :-( ) Access off...More

With it position off a busy roundabout the access can be laborious. The mix of shops pretty much same as everywhere. However Rushden has been starved of multi nationals and so well visited with a lovely Marks and Spencer the big drawcard! The centre lacks...More

We visited yesterday for the first time, when we arrived we parked relatively easy. I thought the shopping centre was enclosed, but it's not, however this didn't cause a problem. I feel the 5 hour parking restriction could cause a problem, we it visited 3...More

It's absolutely ridicoulus that parking is limited to 5 hours when there is so much on offer. We visited 360 play, took 30 minutes to get in and paid £30 entry. Whilst there we waited 1 hour for food. We parked near 360 and it...More

Rushen Lakes has a lot to offer, from shops, restaurants, cafes, rock wall climbing country and wildlife walks. The parking is free for 5 hours and there is plenty of parking, although we went on a Friday afternoon. The walks around lakes were lovely, and...More

The only downfall of Rushden Lakes is the chaos on the roads filtering off a large roundabout on the A45, and single line traffic into the shopping centre with insufficient parking spaces. Once you are parked the shops and restaurants are very good, the lake...More

Having known Rushden for decades, and experiencing the demise of the high street over the years, it's refreshing to see Rushden with a little bit of life back in the old dog. In most other towns, Rushden Lakes would just be a hum-drum run of...More

Yes, I think there is a place to hire them just past the bus stop. Maybe the visitor centre can advise if you ring them. Bev

You could park in one of the free council car parks in Rushden town center and then walk down the High Street to ASDA then along the Greenway which comes out on Crown Park. Just a short walk over to Rushden Lakes then.

Same as everyone else's reply, 5 hours free parking, and as somebody on here said, its designed for you to do more than just shopping and eating, walking round the lakes for instance, so how do they expect you to do it all... More
