After trying a selction of their beers in the nearby Tap and Kitchen visited the shop to by our favourites,
The guy serving us was so friendly and very informative about the beers and everything about the brewery.
Disd not do the brewery tour, but next time we will, highly recommended and don't forget to try the Tap and Kitchen for their amazing food and range of beers

Great micro brewery in a lovely location
Sep 2018 • Friends
The brewery is located in the wharf. Although, we went on a wet day, I can imagine that it would be lovely sitting outside.

There is an excellent choice of beers on offer. If like me you like variety you can have 4 small third glasses. There are at least 16 beers on offer. For those not eating in the kitchen there are snacks including nuts and olives and also sausage rolls.

The kitchen also looks nice with locally supplied goods. The food did look nice

On the site are some shops including an artisan bakers.

The shop is open for beer sales at the weekend but bottles and cans can be purchased anytime.

Good for the Real Ale fans who just want beer as well as those wanting a nice meal.

Great micro brewery, and it’s all gluten free!

This award winning brewery has gone from strength to strength since it opened. Great beer, a shop that doubles as a bar on Friday and Saturday and all gluten free, perfect!

Really interesting range of beers
Aug 2017 • Couples
Popped in to have a look and ending up staying a couple of hours. Its a shop where you can buy a pint and sit and drink it. Quite busy but not over crowded. The guy behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable. Took a shine to a couple of the beers and went back to buy some bottles the following day. If you are interested in beers its a must. Would have liked to have been able to do the tour.

Spent a couple of hours on Saturday afternoon on a guided tour in the Nene Valley Brewery. The guide, who was one of the owners was very knowledgeable made the visit very enjoyable. He gave us a good few sample of the beer supplied by the brewery and if I was a beer drinker I would surely buy some!

Didn't know this place existed till doing a bit of research on here. Was looking for somewhere to spend a couple of hours on Saturday.
Although we didn't do the brewery tour we did spend a while in the shop talking to the very friendly and informative staff about the premises and the large range of beers the brew.
There's cans and bottles galore to buy as well as a range of keg beers to sample.
Well worth a visit!
There's a beer festival on over Easter so we may well be back :)

Great beer but rude service!
Dec 2016 • Solo
My second visit this week, the first being to the excellent Tap and Kitchen with the other half this week. On this occasion I visited the Brewery Shop on a Friday evening for a mini keg. The kegs on the shelves do not have a 'best before' date stamped on the keg, hence the perfectly legitimate enquiry when taking the keg to the bar as when said keg should be consumed by. I was met with a look of complete derision from the elderly gentleman serving who merely (and rather gruffly it has to be said) told me what a silly question i'd asked before proceeding to answer it (pointless I know!). He seemed more interested in 'holding court' with regulars than serving customers, evidenced by the fact of simply passing me the receipt without so much as a thank you.

Great Birthday Present

As a lover of craft beer, I was given a flagon to fill with my favourite tipple. To do this I had to visit the brewery. Who could refuse such an offer!! I tasted 5 brews, all very different, and selected one. The brewmaster was very knowledgeable, and I think soon latched on to what I would prefer. Actually he was wrong as I decided to try something different. They produce a range to suit all tastes, from golden ales to dark porters.

Brewery Tour
Sep 2016 • Friends
Went for a tour with our club, very informative and well presented.

The tour took about an hour and a half covered the whole process of making beer.

Learnt the difference between a Keg and a cask

We finished the visit sampling the various beers of different strength and flavour.

if you like real ale the brewery is a must
