Love that it has an old fashioned charm. Love the open spaces. Loving the addition of the farm animals and meerkats. Great that there are new attractions like the zip wire. Sad that the swinging boats have gone. At that the playground, lake, open spaces are free. Find the tickets for the other attractions expensive. Traffic in summer can be... More

So, it looks old, tired and very dated. Yes it's a kind of off season but it was busy. I found some staff rude and some definitely didn't want to be there. £5 per child for a wristband for 5 activities, 1 of which is half open. It's clear work is being carried out on site, I just hope other... More

It's the perfect place to walk the dogs. Loads of walks and our Shitzu's love looking at the goats, Meerkats and various birds. They have to stay on the leads. Our grandson usually falls asleep. But the lakeside walk is hard surfaced and easy in all weathers. If you're going to visit a lot. I recommend a season ticket for... More

Ok so when I was young this was arguably one of the most fun, family friendly and enjoyable places you could go. So what's changed? Not much to be honest "literally" But that shouldn't be held against this place. Yes it's a tad dated, yes it looks a bit tired in places, but the key is, kids love it and... More

We took my son and a group of his friends here for the day to celebrate his 6th birthday. Wristbands for the rides were reasonably priced and there is lots of space for kids to play and have picnics. Rides suitable for kids up to 8 or 9 years old. Nothing white-knuckle, so older children and teenagers would not really... More

I have always come here, it has changed from I was a kid coming here, love the new animal part. Loads for the ids to see and the park has loads of fun things for little ones, I would say if the weather is on your side take a picnic and enjoy the area for eating and playing. Even just... More

A nice place for a walk especially for kids but everything is just too old and a bit pricey for the rides available.

Wicksteed is a great place for a get together for kids to have a run around. Loads of free play area but also offers rides for the bigger kids. The prices for the tickets/wrist bands can be quite pricey. Lovely new indoor play area which is great for raining days, loads of rooms to have a picnic/BBQ. It's a shame... More

A wonderful family friendly day out with the added attractions of birds & meerkats. There are rides for people of all ages, plenty of food & drink options, many seating areas & plenty of other things to do including boat rides & a train ride as well. The face painting & gift shop are good if not a little pricey... More
