POOR QUALITY I need to express my disappointment with the Christmas party I arranged at wicksteed park for my staff . My main disappointment was the meal , I am appalled at the poor quality and size of the dishes , I still can't quite believe that this would have been served and deemed acceptable , The entertainment also started... Children not allowed to touch a building without being accused of defacing it . Absolutely disgusted by the staff attitude today. Not a park for children today.

I excitedly said yes when my work colleague suggested that this year's Christmas doo would be at Wicksteed Park, a personal childhood favourite and brand which is renowned in these parts. A warm welcome, and the venue was nice but the food was absolutely atrocious, the attached photo is exactly what was served. Speaks for itself!

We have just returned from the Christmas Show.......and what a disappointment! Unfortunately we were expecting it to be as good as last year.......and it was NOT! What a confusing show. The second half was better than the first.......but that was still not very good. This show was not a polished rendition of a Christmas Show!! However, the food was good... More

After visiting the Xmas show again this year, that's 5 in a row,all shows have been brilliant, but the food was terrible, the turkey was like plastic, don't know how they can call it turkey,I wouldn't serve that to my cat if I had one.The staff didn't have a clue what they were doing.I really enjoy the shows not to go,just hope they... What an a place, it's massive! Leaked of parking loads to do, and an incredible indoor play area for the kids. The main rides etc were closed due to the time of year but will be coming back in the summer months to try everything out

We are lucky and can walk the dog over to here from our village. The dog walking around the grounds is good, as long as you avoid all the dropped food. The grounds are kept well and when there are no functions on it is quite peaceful. The fairground attractions are great for young kids. There are plenty of food... More

We visited Wickstead park indoor play area for a child's birthday. We were told as soon as we entered there was a 2 hour limit which to be fair is plenty. The park itself is a long way off the huge uk parks but has a great family atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Great value for money. Lots to see and do. This is ideal for 4-10 year old kids. Another bonus is that there's lots to see and do that is completely free. When we visit most theme parks, we pay expensive admission prices for 2 adults and our son. However, I don't do the thrill rides, roller coasters and stuff so... More
