Would highly recommend going to Corby if wanting a library to go to, the sanitary bin in the toilet has not been emptied in weeks and is now over flowing onto the floor. Also one of the member are quite rude, every day there is school kids in there charging their phones and the one time I do, one worked came over and took it upon herself to unplug my phone and pick it up, I took it off her and apologised but she insisted on getting rude and blunt about it, if she had just asked me to unplug it, it would not have been a problem, highly recommend Corby

Fairly clapped out interior too. Great local studies section but beyond that culturally dead. One of the most unstimulating enviroments I have come across. Conforms to neither a traditional (Chelsea Library) or modern (Canada Water) model. More like an under funded, under-resourced misery of a place.

But as it is sitting in a Conservative Brexit voting town it is a fair reflection of the area.

Andrew Carnegie would be horrified.

A typical town centre library & so much more! - the library is well stocked with books ,DVD, CD etc &n they will always try & source your request - someone is always on hand to help with computer access & they run lots of "special interest" sessions - worth becoming a member

This wonderful resource has more to offer than you think. Libraries have changed over the years and this one is no exception. There are quiet areas for study, or reading, but equally there is not the totally deafening silence of yester year. Everyone is welcome. There is a dedicated gated area for children where they can explore a thousand different worlds behind the covers of the many books on offer. Adults are well catered for and the library offers services for bus pass and blue badge applications. They also offer areas within the library building for exhibitions and demonstrations. Have a look at their website for details of all of the above.

Used this library for the first time the other day and it really hit home....if we don't use these great facilities then we are likely to loose them. The place is full of great reading, access to the internet and a great place to just kick back, relax in the cool and read a book or a newspaper. Let's face it, where else can you get access to so much for so little these days? The staff were very helpful as well so go on, get down to this great library and take advantage of free book rental.

This is a great library to go and get books from. The staff there are really friendly and its good for kids as well. They do a good selection of books and the building itself is architecturally impressive. I would at least put this on par with Northampton Central Library if not slightly better.

A great place to come with children, or just for a read yourself.
This library offers activities for young children and toddlers, and is often hosting other events.
There is plenty of space here, so you dont feel like you're over crowded. There are also educational items for sale here.
Helpful staff and a lovely environment.
Its always been here and has definitely moved with the times over the years, but still maintains whats important for libraries.

It was lovely to step back in time and revisit Kettering Library. It still has all the charm that I remember from my childhood. Easy to navigate and helpful staff, no sense of anyone being hurried through, you were welcome to stay as long as you pleased.
