Daventry Country Park is a popular park ideally situated in the urban fringe of Daventry with circular, way marked and hard-surfaced trails through woodlands, meadows and close to the reservoir with wheelchair accessible bird hides to stop and view the wildlife. We were there for about two and a half hours, using it as a meet up place to collect my dog from my mum. Cafe was cheap and reasonable standard (nothing outstanding, but adequate), loos were clean, walk around the lake very beautiful, with good cover and lots of interesting smells for K9s. Many runners, cyclists etc. I would have... More

We had a little walk at Daventry Court Park, on the way back to home after a weekend break nearby. Lovely place with very beautiful spots around the lake. We had coffee at this picturesque cafe what looks like a kind of old fashioned shelter. There's a little place opposite of the cafe, on the other side of the lake... More

We have been going here for the past 8 years and love it. It's an amazing place to catch Bulbasaurs (Pokemon Go) according to my son. We love it because of the beautiful reservoir which is great to walk, run or cycle around. It's also great fun to feed the ducks. More importantly, they make a mean sausage sandwich at... More

Great park area for children, toilets, small cafe and picnic area also. Went and had a picnic and fed the ducks and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their selves :)

This is a great place to walk around whether you are there to walk, jog or watch the wildlife. It is also a great place for a walk whether it is with your dog, friends or family. It is also good place for photography, particularly the wildlife including water fowl and squirrels. There is no charge to enter , but... More

Okay I should preface this review by saying this park isn't like Wicksteed Park, Billing Aquadrome or Alton Towers it is simply a relatively peaceful area you can walk around with your dog / kids / loved one etc and partway round there is a visitor centre, some toilets, a small shop/cafe. First of all it costs you £2 to... More

We walked round the park the other week and thought the long straight path past the café was very overgrown with weeds, it was hard to see the water in places. It was always kept very tidy, but no more.
