I loved the ghost tour, it was a fitting end to a lovely six day stay at Robin Hood's Bay. Rose was a skilled story teller, weaving her magic, entertaining us all with her tales and sharing her love of this wonderful universive we live in. It was so wonderful to be entertained in real life instead of through a screen. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Anyone who (& in my opinion carelessly) left negative comments re the hosts abruptness &/or alleged distaste for children - clearly doesn’t understand that this marvellous little gem of an experience is a piece of theatre - & one executed excellently by a clearly talented skilled and learned artist. A pure professional. The better looking of the crowd that we were part on our walk all ‘got’ the little jibes at the children and chuckled appropriately- the further educated of us enthusiastically applauded along both in admiration & awe of a successful strategy this lone performer was using for dealing with badly behaved, lousy mannered children while trying to keep the attention of her large audience. Their parents neither cared enough; or lacked the awareness: capability to reign them in themselves. Stories might be fantasy filled - but when delivered so fantastically - who cares!

I was really looking forward to this but walked away early as it was NOT a ghost walk but a lecture about looking after the Earth. I agreed with most of what was said but had paid for some ghostly tales and not to be preached at. The storyteller was very easily distracted and therefore any tales were disjointed. She was also not very child friendly and although the children were being very quiet she couldn't cope with a girl twirling in front of her.

We really enjoyed the ghost tour! Rose was an excellent and talented story teller, with lots of interesting views on modern day living and nature as well as entertaining and informative ghost stories. She knew a lot about the history of the area and kept us captivated with her tales right until the end. It was more informative than “spooky” but we were very happy with that.

Rose was a very welcoming host and certainly knew her history and stories of RHB, we was staying in Smugglers in the bay and must admit slept with one eye open that night 😂. I’ve read a couple of the awful reviews on here and cannot understand why anyone would think she was rude , she was friendly, funny and very Courteous to passer bys making sure we didn’t get in anyone’s way. Highly recommend and at £7 a great price, having another walk round today to look at all the places she pointed out. Thank you Rose, don’t stop doing the walks because you are awesome.
