I've lived in and around Richmond for decades and somehow had never made it through the doors of the Green Howards Museum. Somehow I just assumed it would be rather specialist and perhaps a bit dull. However I had 45 minutes to kill whilst waiting...More

Those who are interested in military history will love this place. We have been here several times and it still interests us even though our family history connects with other regiments. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Not the first time visiting but it is such an interesting place once is never enough. Love the personal touch with letters to and from loved ones. Information and videos are excellent as you feel part of the history. Will certainly be visiting again.

Very well organised little museum and a great selection of items in tribute to the Green Howards. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Medals Room was incredible. A must see if you happen to be in the beautiful Richmond for a day trip.

Many thanks for the positive review, it really helps encourage others to visit us and understand more about those key moments in history, told through the personal stories of those who served. We will look into the fridge magnet situation...
