Of particular interest is the history of the development of the castle, and the details of the conscientious objectors imprisoned there during WWI. probably less of interest to smaller children.

Another castle and not much of it was left to see. Some history in a very few information posters. Good views over the city. But overall very underwhelming. Not worth the £6.20 admission.

As castles go this one is one of the best. The history is conveniently displayed in various areas and the views from the top of the keep are stunning.

Worth a visit for the views. Good exhibition but a shame the wall inscriptions aren't open to the public at the moment due to conservation.
