Stunning scenery
Mar 2019 • Couples
Lovely walk in all weathers! The scenery around there was stunning! The weather was cold but clear sunny skies and it was ideal!

Stunningly Beautiful
Aug 2019
One of those rare gems you must visit. A walk in nature. Take a flask and lunch and admire the rock formations and water. Look out for the scenes painted by Turner. Truely magical and stunning.

Bare dirty quite unexceptional in every sense apart that someone has the cheek to charge for it.

There is nothing to see apart a largish lake surrounded by uninteresting trees and a few outcrops of uninteresting rocks. And they charge you for getting muddy shoes! Don't bother.

Just a walk
Aug 2019 • Family
I have to agree with one of my fellow reviewers the price to get in is over priced for what it is ,the Gentleman taking the money was very happy , but when he’s raking the money in for two days work so would I , the lake /rocks are very poor .the signs to show where turner painted are either worn or nonexistent, no facilities on site .all in all very poor value for money

Hidden Gem
Aug 2019 • Couples
We have wanted to visit for ages and finally managed today. The most stunningly beautiful views round the lake and lots of wonderful rock formations. Take a picnic and drinks as no facilities on site. I would definitely recommend as a place to visit. My only slight criticism is that some of the information boards had no information on so not very clear which way to go.

Expensive Rip Off
Jul 2019 • Family
Plumpton Rocks is only open at weekends but open every day in August. Quite frankly for the amount of money charged £3.50 per adult and £2.50 per child it is a bit of a rip off. There are no facilities whatsoever - toilets are a must if nothing else . The notice boards depicting Turner’s paintings are well past their sell by date and need replacing. The setting itself is lovely but a charge per car would be much more reasonable than a charge per person.

Enjoyed
Jul 2019 • Friends
After a event finished earlier than planned with the dogs at Wetherby decided to take them for a walk nearby. A quick Google came up with the above so decided to visit.
First of all, it cost 3.50 each to enter as privately owned.
But wow it was certainly an interesting visit and the lake and the rocks where stunning.
The foxgloves where out giving a dash of purple.
Was much enjoyed

Gem of a place
Apr 2019 • Family
Amazing place and everyone should visit here at least once.Hidden from the busy Harrogate to Wetherby road and the Rocks and lake are an eye opener. Not ideal for the very old unless they are fit and active.Great fun for active families, kids will happily run round and hide in the rocks.Care is needed though as there are high rocks with big drops and deep water too.

A gorgeous little find
Apr 2019 • Family
We came here on a very sunny April day which certainly added to our enjoyment. A family ticket was £10 and we got parked ok. It’s like a mini Brimham rocks.
We spent about two hours wandering around but had we brought a picnic we could have spent quite a bit longer. We really liked it and it’s absolutely beautiful.
The kids really enjoyed the climbing and exploring.
