Went here on a dismal Saturday afternoon not knowing what to expect but at least it was undercover and to my surprise I actually quite enjoyed it. There was an excellent cheese making demonstration which went through all the process steps together with some very...More

At £3.95 per adult, this place is great value for money! We learned a lot about how cheese and butter are made as well as the history behind Wensleydale cheese. As we came on a Sunday, we were advised that no cheese is made at...More

We visited the creamery as part of a day out. It’s a real eye opener! It’s really interesting to visit even if you don’t like cheese! The shop is over priced but they have some nice things in it! The cheese tasting is definitely the...More

The experience is wonderful even though we didn't get there while the creamery was operational. We want to give a strong shout-out to the young lady who did the demo of cheese making (and who we later saw in passing doing butter - we do...More

I would recommend the tour around the creamery but even if you don’t have time, the cheese shop is worth a visit on its own. You can sample freely before you buy and the choice is very impressive.

Our second visit to the Cheese Factory. Still an excellent experience. There are that many cheeses to try its unbelievable. No restrictions on how many times you go round, spotlessly clean and if you are a cheese buff it’s heaven on earth. TRY BEFORE YOU...More
