Came here on a very wet and windy day whilst staying in York as it was recommended by a friend. It's a good 60+ miles from York. The actual cheese making wasn't taking place whilst were there but we paid £1 each for a look...More

Always love to visit here. Don’t see the point in having to pay to see the viewing area.. specially if you don’t have kids. The gift shop and cafe is nice though and always love to get plenty of selection when we visit. Good work!

The museum is currently having some changes put in place so we paid a reduced fee(£1) to visit the factory. Exhibits are well laid out and interspersed with interesting cheese facts. There's also plenty of stuff aimed at children so that they can learn whilst...More

I have 2 dogs and we left them in the car. It's only a small place so you wouldn't be in long. We just kept checking them. There is a cafe with seating outside where dogs are allowed. Hope this helps. Well worth a visit... More
