Blessed with glorious weather this was an amazing 5 mile walk. Up on the tops really great views. The footpath we used was a bit hard to locate but perseverance paid off. Dramatic rock formations with an almost lunar landscape.

Plenty of opportunities for photos in this amazing geographical site. In the area of dramatic limestone scenery, these rock formations offer another view.

The children love this 5.5 mile circular walk from Austwick. They love running around the boulders, paddling in the beck and stopping at the Game Cock pub for a soft drink at the end of the walk. We enjoy the views and a beer.

We weren't sure of the starting point, drove past the pub in Austwick and asked for directions! Further down the road at Cross Road, parked on left cos all the lanes are one track only! A steep climb and we went over the wall and into the field. On to an iffy path on the verge of a steep drop... More

Huge erratic boulders that bring home the power of moving Ice! Now many are poised precariously as a result of the post-glacial lowering of the limestone on which they rest.

Probably overlooked (see what I did there) by the 3 peaks, this is a lovely gentle walk out of Austwick, that culminates in some fabulous views, and great geological formations.
