Don't go to Slaeaford and miss this lovely ancient church, its huge for a market town and full of interesting plaques etc. We were made very welcome and not hasslesed at all.

Just a few yards away from the never ending traffic of Sleaford, yet tranquil and cool inside, with the greater glory of God clearly in everyone's mind when they designed and added to this marvellous 12th Century church. Spend a little time there, look at the fine stained glass windows, marvel at the beauty of the carvings, and take note of the fact that women and men have been praying and giving thanks the the Lord there for 800+ years. It seems there are no candles, but the Lord will see you if you are praying - and even if you are not.

St Deny's is a lovely old church in the market place in the centre of Sleaford. The building is lovely and it's worth walking all the way round just to look at the outside before going inside.
The stained glass windows are lovely.
You can park outside if the market isn't taking place or in a large car park just down the road.

it is lovely to find a church open and be able to wander around admiring the decor. some stunning windows and a really unusual pulpit. just a shame i could not light a candle as no candle lighting equipment, but guess they do not want to leave around.

I have attended this church for concerts put on by local musical groups. Well worth the visit and always well-attended. The church itself is beautiful and on a bright day the pictures of the many large stained glass windows come out really well. A huge church for this relatively small town but it’s so beautiful and surrounded by plenty of places to eat and drink and plentiful parking.

Beautiful, calming church, the stained glass windows can only be appreciated once you go in, light and colour all around.

St Denys is a beautiful church which is always very welcoming. We enjoy visiting to admire the architecture and to donate food to the larder. St Denys also has frequent activity groups for children we have noticed.

This church is full of beautiful Stained Glass windows, with lots of history and interesting things to see. There is a superb rood screen from the middle ages that is possibly the work of Sir Christopher Wren. Interesting monuments to the Carre family. There is an interesting collection of chained ancient books. The main amtar, reredos and great east window are superb. Look behind the reredos and you will find some intricate stonework that is not normally on displat.
Ample car parking outside in the Market Place.
