Really great activity for a few hours on an afternoon while on holiday in the area. Awaiting to collect our items but the experience was fun and the lady running the shop on the day we visited was very accomodating. Only issue was the drinks, as one of our party ordered a latte which unfortunately tasted unpleasant and had lumps of solid milk floating around in it, all other drinks seemed to be fine. Looking forward to collecting our artwork soon!

a great way to entertain the kids whilst creating unique Christmas gifts too!
the staff are so friendly and their creativity is brilliant... turning a paint footprint into a reindeer for instance!
highly recommended

I found this on the internet, we were met by a very nice young lad who told us all about the place. We chose our pottery and order coffee & cakes then they told us about the paints and we got started , my Grandaughter chose a butterfly and I chose a bon bon dish it took about an hour to complete them and then they took them away to glaze and fire and we have to collect in a week

I have just had my daughters birthday party here. It was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating, experienced and helpful. The children loved every minute and have got a lovely keepsake from their time at the party. I also went with the option for them to cater and I was very impressed with the quality of the food. They also separated the savoury and sweet so the kids had to eat some savoury before the cakes and biscuits were brought out. If you are looking for something a bit different for your child's party I thoroughly recommend this place. I thank them for a truly fabulous party for my daughter.

I'm a big fan of pottery painting and find it very relaxing.
I came here whilst on holiday for my birthday with my partner mother and 7 year old son and had a great time in the beautiful cafe.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful throughout our visit, came over to the table several times to make sure we was all ok and knew what we was doing and encouraged my son with his painting.
We arranged to pick our work up Monday on our way home but unfortunately we had to leave the Sunday.
We contacted the owner via Facebook to see if we could arrange for the work to be posted to us the owner replied within minutes with several other options for us to save on postage fees. And in the end went well out of her way to arrange for us to pick it up from her house. This was more than helpful and cannot thank you enough. Would defiantly recommend to any one.
Thanks again 😊

We were struggling to come up with ideas as to what to do to entertain two children on a rainy Saturday afternoon in Sleaford.
Cinema? Go for something to eat? Visit a museum? We'd done all these before and to be honest there not that much fun anymore! We'd heard about the pottery painting cafe and decided to pop in to have a look. I'm so glad we did! Don't worry about it if you're not the next Van Gogh, it's so easy. Even I was impressed by my own artistic handy-work!

Firstly you choose something to paint. There are lots of different items ranging from mugs, plates, cups, teapots through to other more quirky items like toast racks and my sons choice, a little cartoon character of a small boy - whom he later named Kevin!
The people that work in the pottery painting cafe explained everything to us very well and also offered to help us out should we need it. They also showed us how to achieve amazing effects using the many different brushes and sponges etc.
We sat at a table and started to paint, choosing, each colour carefully and also, asking which type of brush - of which there are many - might be best suited for the job. There is a glazed plate in the centre of each table with a colour chart to let you see how the colours you choose will look once your item is done. Each paint colour is individually numbered and there are around 30 to choose from.

My wife and I had a lovely coffee and the kids had juice and we all had a lovely cake each. Difficult to choose from the lovely selection of home baked goodies!

Once your item I finished being painted and you are happy with the colours etc., you return a few days later after it has been glazed and fired in the kiln. There is also a home delivery service if you can't make it back. We were delighted with how our items looked. They are really really lovely.

It's a nice touch to have something that looks so good and know that it's colourful design was chosen and painted by yourself and your children.

The pottery painting cafe is a lovely, little place to visit for that something a little bit different. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. In a nice cosy, relaxed atmosphere it's an excellent way to while away a couple of hours. Great food and drinks, and superb service!

Excellent is the word for this painting cafe . It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and I can't think of anywhere I'd rather have been. The staff were great always there to lend a hand if needed. Coffee great next time I visit will stop for food as what I saw coming out looked very nice... A little gem and a must! I wish them every success for the future

Very good experience, would highly recommend. We had some marks on our pottery when we picked them up but the staff were really helpful, they took the pottery back, removed the marks then re-kilned them.

I took my daughter to the paint a Mother’s day present workshop. We were greeted as we entered and despite my daughter being upset when I went to leave the lady running the workshop was fantastic with her and settled her down so much that she wants to go again. Lovely place to visit and paint
