A very interesting place to visit. Good video on how how it is works. A little bit steep on the ladders and not good if you aren’t mobile. We also walked along the river side and it is only a short walk into the town.

Amazing to think that a water mill has stood on this site since Saxon times. Free entry. Pretty setting, parking. Flour for sale, a bench next to the river makes a good picnic spot.More

We visited the mill today, I'm glad I we did. The children loved it as there is some hands-on for them. The staff are most welcoming, knowledgeable & helpful. It isn't the largest I have had visited but one of the most characterful. Being a...More

Took a leisurely stroll along the river from Sleaford. Old Mill only runs once a month (I think) but it's possible to go up the ladder to 2 different levels. Not recommended for very young or infirm. Small gift shop and limited refreshments available.

An interesting visit to a working water mill where you can learn about milling, then buy some milled flour. Afterwards take the 10 minute riverside walk into Sleaford town centre.
