St James is the original church central to grimsby dating back to the 16th century. It became a minster about 6 to 8 years ago. Definitely worth a visit as it has firm historical lincs with the fishing industry.

This is a bit of an undiscovered gem for anyone interested at all in good buildings, great stained glass and a peaceful environment if you want that. There was helpful staff to answer questions and direct our attention to the most interesting areas.

Sadly, when we last visited here last Christmas, the Minster was closed, but luckily today was open. Lovely stained glass windows, beautiful and poignant WW1 dedications. Loved the small alcoves above where spotlights had been fitted. Worth visiting.

I took a lot of photos of the stain glass windows. So no problem as far as I was concerned.
