This shop is bright, modern and full of loveliness. Staff are super helpful. Wish I lived closer so I could shop more often or join a class.

A shop that offers much more than wool! This place invites local creatives to gather and get involved with local community events etc. A very charitable organisation, A Good Yarn also offers a wide range of creative material.

This shop is amazing, not only does it have everything you need, the proprietor is obliging and friendly as are all the staff. There are workshops throughout the year and various groups to join for a chat and help with your knitting projects. Brilliant!

This is a wonderful yarn store in Cleethorpes, just off Seaview Street, which itself is a buzzing little area. I've only been in one better yarn store and that was in New York, so I will keep returning here! I love the way the yarn is knitted into teeny weeny garments to show what the yarn actually knits up like and also Kate, the owner is so friendly and helpful, I wished I lived closer. Kate has a great range of craft books, both knitting and crochet as well as a wide range of yarns, including Debbie Bliss, Bergere de France, Sirdar, and some more unusual brands. If you are ever in Cleethorpes then don't worry about running out of wool. A Good Yarn will certainly come to the rescue!

What a wonderful shop. I could have moved in. It is a lovely lady who owns the shop which also has a lovely seating area (where she held an emergency yarn related consultation with a lady this morning) and has a room where she holds classes in knitting and crochet and there are also knit and crochet clubs!!! She obviously also stocks a fabulous range of yarns for every occasion. I was spoiled for choice. I will definitely be back the next time in in Cleethorpes 😁

Let's face it: you can but wool online, like pretty much everything. It's going to cost you around the same and if you're lucky you'll be in when it's delivered. A Good Yarn doesn't just sell wool. From the point you walk in you are assured of a warm welcome, expert advice and often, a great cuppa. It's a little social hub, somewhere to knit and natter, or to take part in one of the many organised workshops. Choice of patterns and wool is fabulous but here you get something you can't get online - genuine friendship and the knowledge you are supporting a local small business. Can't recommend it highly enough.

A Good Yarn is a fantastic wool shop. It has all the up to date yarns, books and accessories. The weekly knitting groups are great fun...friendly and even the experienced knitter can learn something new. Relaxed atmosphere as soon as you enter the shop. Staff are not pushy but friendly and knowledgable. Easy to get to the shop in car or bus. Well worth a visit.

I don't knit myself but I am a long suffering husband of a knitter. Compared to other shops that I have been forced to visit on my travels, this has nice comfy sofas where I can sit and look on my phone while the Mrs shops plus if we are there a long time then I get a coffee!!

It all looks pretty and has lots of yarn which I don't know much about but the Mrs seems keen. When I've ventured in on my own in search of Christmas and Birthday present, it's been quite painless and they do gift vouchers which sorts me out of a lot of problems!

A Good Yarn is not only a wonderful yarn shop but just a beautiful and friendly place to be. I've been a regular since the day they opened. The shop is beautifully presented, the customer service is great (very helpful if you want and not pushy in the slightest), there is a wide selection of yarns, books and accessories and if you need any technical advice they are always willing to help.

There are many regular events like the knit and natters, knit club, crochet club and workshops plus other things too.

It's a perfect woolly haven and well worth popping in to have a browse.
