Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is a fantastic way to see the resort of Cleethorpes. Steam and diesel locomotives on the 15" gauge track take visitors on a two-mile journey along the seafront, stopping at three stations. But the attraction is much more than a railway. It includes a tea room, The Signal Box Inn - reputed to be the world's smallest pub - a gift shop, locomotive sheds and workshops.

Came with my two children, aged 3 and 1. The lady in the ticket office was informative and the train was waiting for us. It was not busy so the driver let my oldest sit on the engine. My eldest has been worried about riding on trains before but all staff were helpful and eased any fears. He loved it.... More

Can't beat a little train ride with a beach, sea, duck pond and much more to see on this lovely little train ride. Pleasantly surprised by the whole of Cleethorpes. What a lovely location.

Top tip : don't sit in a front carriage behind the engine on the return trip unless you enjoy a face... More

Our two and a half year old loved every minute. We where greeted by a friendly lady on the till area who told us about the routes and showed us which platform we should take. Value was fantastic and the price was very reasonable! The conductor was friendly but the driver even offered my son to sit up front for... More

My husband and I went on this miniature railway without the grandkids and still had loads of fun! You go quite a good distance along the coast, round the boating lake and up to the Pleasure Park and caravan site. The only problem was the the engine developed a fault but with all the engineers, some of whom are enthusiastic... More

I first rode on this railway when it first opened as my then husband knew the people who run it and I'm amazed how much it's come on. It has now got a busy cafe and a waiting area which on the day we went was buzzing with people eager to support this attraction. The carriages are very small so... More

If you've got children or grandchildren, then this attraction is a must. We are all children at heart, and apart from being an excellent ride from A to B it is so much fun. The stations have gifts and a pub! if you feel the need for a drink en route! Our grandson loved it and made it a memorable... More
