A short walk from the holiday park areas, this is a great spot to teach kids about geography (in an interesting way) as well as for adults to grasp where we are on the earth.

If, like me, you were running the Cleethorpes half marathon, then the best part of the Meridian Line is that it is near the finish, and a welcome finish line it was.

The history and science behind thie prime longitude line is monumental and the fact that it runs through Cleethorpes should be of note as it only touches land in eight countries in the world so the opportunities to appreciate it is rare

We walk along the beach path regularly and the meridian always generates conversation . Visitors take advantage of the benches nearby to sit and enjoy sandwiches whilst they take in the sea view.
