Something different
Sep 2021
Visited here one day last week. Plenty of parking spaces. Not overly smooth ground for wheelchair users.

Lots of donkeys in various paddocks. We went to buy some buckets of carrots but the owners had run out so were selling 8 ginger biscuits in a bucket for 75p. Have to say didn't know donkeys eat ginger biscuits. If you held out the biscuit they would gently take it. Just be aware the donkeys kick the fencing if your to slow handing over the food.

There was a toilet on site but did not see any other hand basins around to wash your hands, There was a cafe but it was so busy we didn't use it as all seating was taken already and a gift shop.

One of the donkey's had a real mop of mane that was all matted and needed a good brush for sure.

Great for adults and children

Great place to visit with children
Aug 2021
First time we have visited. It was busier than I expected to be but despite that I didn't have trouble parking. There are various areas where you can feed the donkeys who are very friendly and can't seem to get enough carrots!! There were more donkey there than I expected and the children aged 11, 12 & 14 thoroughly enjoyed feeding them.

They all had 1 large bucket of carrots but we had to return for another. We spent a very enjoyable hour or so there.

There is a small cafe and shop on site although we didn't get any refreshments there as it was very busy.

I would definitely visit again

Donkey Day

Enjoyed this visit to see the donkeys. We bought buckets of carrots to feed them and stayed an hour or so, walking along the fields as they came up to the fence hoping to be fed! They were very friendly so you could stroke them 🐴🥕🥕.
I would visit again.

Amazing place doing a wonderful job.

Visited while on holiday with the family.
A lovely place, we were very impressed by how many Donkeys there were and how close you could get to them all. We had lots of fun feeding and stroking them.
They're lovely animals each with their own unique personality.
The centre is doing a wonderful job caring for them all.
We even ended up adopting one!
Highly recommend a visit.

A great day out with the family

Our first time visiting Radcliffe donkey sanctuary we were pleasantly surprised.

All the staff we talked to were very friendly. We would recommend getting 2-3 buckets of carrots for each person as you go through them very quickly.

We look forward to visiting again on our next holiday to Skegness!

Lovely place to visit with family
Aug 2021
So pleased to have been able to visit for a couple of hours. Do check opening times on facebook before visiting to be sure they are open and avoid any disappointment.

The donkeys are absolute characters and we really enjoyed meeting them all. You can find out a little more about them and how they came to be in their care from the donkey adoptions book in the onsite shop.

Entrance fee is by donation, suggested is £1 , however do consider putting a little more in as they do rely on donations to run.

There is a little cafe with seating area where you can enjoy a drink and something to eat. Vegan options were available on our visit.

You are able to buy little buckets of food to feed the donkeys - perfect size for children to carry.

Consider their donkey adoption before you leave. It was £20 for a year and helps go toward the feed and care costs. The children adopted one each and bought a little keyring of their favourite donkeys with their pocket money to remind them of their visit.

Will be sure to return when we visit Skegness again.

It was our second visit and did not disappoint. Glad to see it back open again.
The staff are lovely, the donkeys are fantastic, it’s such a great day out. We love the cafe. Plenty of outdoor seating. The cheeseburger is not to be missed! The catering staff are amusing. Clean toilets too. Just go. You won’t be disappointed.

A few hours in the company of so many delightful animals, for free. It was an absolute joy. Very dog friendly too. I would recommend visiting here even if you are just passing through on the way to or from somewhere. Check the opening times though. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Day Out
Jul 2021
This is a wonderful place for a day out , it’s free but there’s a donation box so you can support this fantastic place . Feeding the Donkeys is so much fun for all the family young and old . But warning you will full in love with these cheeky gentle Donkeys
The food is good value and delicious with a good range of options.
Dogs are welcomed , my dogs simply love this place , not just Donkeys there’s chickens and ducks .
