We arrived to a refreshment breakfast smoked salmon on rye bread and yoghurts etc. Have a package for the day we had set times for our treatments which could be changed subject to availability. Came here for my mothers birthday and from the get go it was great, there was refreshing smoothies on arrival and all of the staff we came across were lovely. We stayed in the standard rooms and they were fine, beds were very comfy! Pool areas and spa were all cleaned and full of supplies for guests to use (i.e... More

After reading the terrible reviews, it's fair to say our group of four ladies were apprehensive about our arrival at Champneys Springs. However we needn't have worried. On arrival the welcoming staff assigned us standard rooms 48 and 49. Both were ground floor recently renovated rooms with terraces. Rooms were clean, pleasant and spacious. My 'head in the clouds' and... More

I have been visiting Champneys Springs for over ten years and whilst the treatments this time were exceptional and the break enabled me to relax totally (apart from check out) which was what I needed, the standards are not as high as they have been and I fear Champneys complacency at being a market leader for so long may be... This hotel was terrible. Only used the pool and gym element of the spa facilities. However we did eat in the restaurant and it was quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The staff asked for your room number every time you ordered anything (usually you'd charge it to the room at the end right?). The... More

A lovely relaxing couple of days. Accommodation and meals are of a very good standard. There are various areas to relax in indoors, as well as the pool area and grounds. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoyed sitting outside. The pool was pleasantly warm. My daughters joined us for a spa day, and stayed for dinner, which... More

After a rude and rushed check in we found that our treatments hadn't been booked in. No apology or explanation was offered. Only some of our pre paid treatments were then offered to us but we were told they couldn't do the rest. Again no apology. I found the spa manager to be abrupt and unhelpful so I asked to... More
