A very small space, with suitably small exhibitions. Very interesting and quirky stuff, mostly by local artists in a variety of media.

We always visit this gallery, when in the area, usually purchasing something from there, most of which is of local making/creation. Very helpful staff and friendly. Goods for purchase, can be reserved, with a small deposit, for a later collection, especially if it's in an exhibition. A MUST place to visit.

An interesting collection of arts & crafts, some stunning pieces, well worth a visit. Tempted by several things and purchased a"witch" in stained glass.

Local artists exhibitions change every three months and well worth seeing. Also, regular local crafts, including cards, on sale, as well as excellent staff with tourist information details.

It is one long room alongside the old station platform next to the Tourist Information desk. When we were there the show featured some mechanical devices which wee quite fun. It's free, warm and friendly so it's worth 20 minutes of anyone's time.

The old station platform- large car park nearby, also close to a few cafes. The Tourist Information is good and offers lots of maps/ booklets etc. The gallery is rather small BUT provides a great selection of artistic talent with an outlet- and visitors with the opportunity to buy high quality pieces of work -glass made/ textile/ graphic art and many others. We particularly like the curved glass lamps and the pewter & wood boxes.
A good place for that special gift for a friend.

Not a large gallery with mainly local artists etc having exhibits. One of these was really imaginative and shows a range of "sculptures" made from everyday objects The gallery is attached to the tourist information office and that was not a good experience. Two ladies behind the desk seemed more interested in their conversation than in giving us information about their town. Sorry to interupt you on Monday 18th September around lunchtime.

The station gallery is housed in buildings on a working train station. It has been established for a number years but I have only recently had the opportunity to visit. It is a long gallery that has Ben fitted to display jewellery, ceramics, textiles, wood sculpture and a variety of other designer crafts to great effect. The exhibitors appear to be chosen with care and all the work on show is made by designer craftspeople. It is well lit and the work is carefully organised to show it at its best. On the whole it is reasonably priced, well described and there is someone on hand to provide further information. There is also a good display of cards available a few of which are hand printed. Exhibitions appear to change on a regular basis and work is for sale. I bought a pair of ear rings as a present and the gallery assistant was particularly helpful. This is a good stop off point for visitors to Clitheroe, a great place to buy special presents and very convenient if you are travelling by train.

I adore this place, I visit every time I visit Clitheroe, I have bought so simply stunning pieces over the many, many years and would encourage everyone to stick your head around the door, you even get 2 hours free parking on Booths supermarket car park which is next door so no excuse. The Train Station is the other side of the gallery, it's really quaint and old and great if you fancy a day trip out somewhere.
