No singing or ringing
Jun 2021 • Couples
It doesn't sing and it doesn't ring. We have renamed it the blowy pipe sculpture which is much more realistic.

However it is impressive and calming and situated with lovely views so definitely worth a little bimble.

Great viewing point.

Paths are not the safest for elderly walkers, maybe a couple of seating areas would be an improvement.

Amazing views

A beautiful Burnley's view, good to go with all family, pet friendly. Easy access by car or on foot.
I didn't listen the sounds, but the views worthy.

Lovely walk
Sep 2020 • Family
Lovely walk and impeccable views of burnley and cliviger.Would highly recommend going on this walk on a sunny and windy day as the monument whistles with the wind!Great for all ages as there is a car park with about a 5 minute walk to it ,or you could walk from clowbridge reservoir which takes about 30 minutes.

Something different, great views.

Took a little finding but worth it , if only for the views which are spectacular! Worth it, even if you're not impressed because there may not be much singing or ringing going on - it's weather dependent. Put your ears to it and it does it ring. An impressive outline on the horizon. Glad we went.

Nice piece of public sculpture

Easy to get to, and amazing close up. makes quirky, eerie sounds when there's a gusty wind. Well worth a visit.

Worth a visit

Highly unusual artwork overlooking Burnley. Hollow metal pipes meant to produce "music" of sorts when the wind blows across or even through the pipes. Got to say that it was fairly windy on the day we visited but it remained stubbornly silent!

Worth a Visit
May 2020
A very interesting sculpture to visit on a windy afternoon - the sounds are quite eerie but I would say it's worth a trip even if it's just the once.

The walk to the Singing Ringing Tree from the car park is quite short but the views are beautiful and there are some nice walks within the area that you could make the most of whilst in the area!

Annoying that visitors don't know how to use bins or take their rubbish home with them and can take a little while to get a good photo of the tree as I noticed most of the children visiting with families were using it as a climbing frame.

The sound of music
May 2020
Fortunately we arrived at the Singing Ringing Tree when it was quite windy and the sounds were awesome. If there is no wind I wouldn't expect much music, so be sure it's windy when you go.
