Yummy Oyster stout! Great location, great atmosphere, authentic pub, friendly staff.. will be coming back for sure. Dogs allowed in if kept on a leash. Recommend a long walk along the beach before and after!

Called in for a couple of pre dinner drinks on a Saturday evening. Good well kept beer and very acceptable house wine. Would recommend.

We went to the old Neptune for Xmas day drinks and had a great time, very atmospheric, cosy and authentic pub. Luckily we got a table and had a great time. Didn't try any food, but the beers and ciders are very well kept andf th estaff work very hard to serve everyone as quickly as possible.

A well known pub located on the beach in Whitstable. The interior is traditional but the floor is uneven and the bar matches with a slope that makes your beer 'lean' to one side. Happy friendly service. Standard pub grub menu. Outside the pub has a large outdoor seating area (picnic benches and tables), this is very popular in the... More

My first ever visit to this pub and I will be returning. We came across this pub when walking along the beach front and decided to pop in for a couple of drinks. The pub offers loads of out door seating and the view is amazing on a hot summers day this is an awesome place to sit out side... More

We had been to the Old Neptune on several occasions and is one place we will always keep going back to. We went there on Sunday afternoon and it was packed, as always. Lots of locals and visitors were there and some were eating. We managed to get a little table at the back of the pub and sat with... More

As per the title, this is the perfect spot for a seaside pint in the sun. The food is good, but stick to the traditional pub food rather than expecting Michelin star quality from the more expansive menus on the item. Would happily return to drink in the sun. Big shout to Tony who makes the venue

The Old Neptune is a really lovely pub and in a great location. We have visited it many times now and hope that the service would get better. The women who serve behind the bar could smile and make you feel welcome. I guess they know the pub will attract lots of people, which it does, so they don't have... More
