About
Launched in April 2015 we offer sedate river cruises and rowing boat hire. We are open for trips Mid March to end Oct and the rowing boats May to Oct please see the website for actual dates and times. Based at the Big Bridge in the High Street the electric launch "Enid May" runs trips in the Tonbridge area and is the ideal platform for photographing the area and the wildlife. The boat will seat up to 12 passengers comfortably and is safe for kids. Why not enjoy a relaxing one hour river trip or book for a private "voyage" either way you get close to nature and can glean some of the areas history from the skipper before finally returning to your starting point by the castle.

We hired the boat to scatter our parents ashes along the river near where they used to live. The captain helped us do this in a thoughtful way, providing information when we wanted it, but keeping quiet when we needed that space. Everything we wanted from the experience.
His 'assistant' was also very helpful in providing detail on the area while we waited.

What a lovely boat trip - so relaxing and the captain was very nice and had lots of information. I will definitely like to do the trip again in Autumn to see the trees changing colour.

Great tour and some very interesting facts shared by the captain. Highly reccommend it even when you live locally, like we do.

I went with 2 friends on a boat trip on the river at Tonbridge. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Friendly but not intrusive driver who was happy to answer questions and give information. The greenery of the trees and river bank were a great contrast to the parched land elsewhere and several dragon flies seemed to be joining our trip some of the way!

My mother and I had a lovely trip along the river yesterday morning. As she has some mobility problems, it was great to be able to arrange an alternative pick up point and have help so she could get on and off the boat easily - this made such a difference. The trip was so relaxing and informative and it was great to see the flood barrier marking the end of the navigable part of the river. A fantastic way to enjoy a relaxing hour, watching the scenery go by and great value for money. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Lovely boat trip through Tonbridge and surrounding countryside. Sat at the front of this lively little electric boat and watched the dragonflies dance above the water. Nice way to spend an hour on a sunny day. Very reasonably priced and local info give to us along the way.

We had a great, relaxing trip down the river. Our skipper could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend this if you are looking to chill out for an hour and learn a bit about the area.

Can you hire rowing boats out, if so do you provide life jackets. I spent time in the 70s on this river swimming and boating. Loved it.

Hi
Could you let me know the maximum number of people you can take on a river trip and the cost of the trip per head. Also, do you do trips late afternoon/evening i.e. after work as we are thinking about this for a social event.
Thanks
