Absolutely magic! Convivial Landlord, proper Public House. Fantastic! I shall have no question about returning to this friendly establishment.

Just had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends here! Second time in 3 weeks!! Traditional Sunday roast with 7 veg followed by a choice of 3 puds! The vegetables are so fresh and cooked to perfection and a huge pile of meat (beef, pork or chicken) topped with a Yorkshire pud. I would advise taking a doggy bag but don't worry if you forget...they are quite happy to wrap up what you can't finish so you can take home. Lovely family atmosphere. Great beers. Fish finger sandwiches on Thurs, Fri and Sat evenings so will definitely be returning!

We are regular customers at The Park Tavern and are greeted every time with smiles and laughter from the landlord and Landlady Andy and Tracey. Recently they have started doing food from Thursday to Sunday and have not had a faulty meal. The meals are not over priced and you get a huge portion. Here is a picture of the Nachos which I did order with a bit of bacon on the side and no guacamole or jalapenos so you would normally get this.
If anybody gets a chance pop in and you will find you will never leave! The pub itself is newly decorated to a modern standard and never has a bad vibe of staff or customers so all are welcome! (Plus if you are a dog lover they have an awesome cute dog who is very friendly!)

We wanted to visit this pub for ages and we're encouraged by a sign outside which said the pub was open from 12 o'clock every day. It is very well decorated both outside and on the inside with plenty of places to sit.
We were greeted very warmly by Andy and picked from a wide selection of alcohol. I had a few pints of Spitfire lager and it was excellent. My partner had a very good glass of Pinot Grigio.
The pub had a very good atmosphere in that it was friendly and inviting especially as it filled up with customers.
We will be returning to sample the food which is available at weekends and the later part of the week. However, this is basically a community pub in that it serves the immediate neighbourhood. I would recommend popping in for a pint if you are walking past as it is well worth the experience.

Came in after work on a Friday evening getting a bit peckish thought I'd try the new menu for food 1/2 pounder burger came with onion rings and chips nice size portions good service thank you to the barman (Andy) for the service and the landlady for cooking the food

Been here a few times with friends, great pub, good beer, dart board, TV screens and a pool table, highly recommended

We arranged to meet friends in the Tav. It seems to be thriving after the refurbishment. They are doing Sunday lunches which are popular with the locals. The place looks lovely and clean . The toilets are immaculate. Pity it took S/N so long to do the place up. There is a great atmosphere, the beer is well kept and the staff are on the ball.

Great family pub , sports on the telly, great staff . Awaiting a refurb at the moment and we wait for the result. Sadly the owners ignored the requests to put money into this one previously but this occurs a lot . There have been many great nights enjoyed a this establishment by myself and my mates, let's hope the Phoenix can rise again
